Itinerary (4:00 PM to 6:00 PM): 4:00 PM Reception at the marina (next to La Marina Inn hotel). Welcome by the team and a brief explanation of the tour. 4:15 PM Departure. Set sail from the marina to enjoy the stunning coastal views. During the ride, the cheese and wine board will be served for your enjoyment. 4:45 PM Scenic exploration. We’ll navigate towards the most picturesque spots in the bay. Relax and take in the perfect harmony of the desert and the sea. 5:15 PM Magical sunset. Experience the highlight of the journey as the sun paints the sky with warm and vibrant colors. A perfect moment for photos and cherished memories. 5:45 PM Return to the marina. Enjoy a final glass of wine as we calmly sail back. 6:00 PM Disembarkation. End of the experience with a warm farewell from the crew.

5.00Everything was perfect! The captain and his first mate were so nice and knowledgeable. Given the size of the boat and the fact that we were out in the bow, I thought that we would at least get splashed by a wave, but no, thanks to the careful driving of the captain, we did not even get a splash. The food and beverages were a nice touch as well. This is a great, relaxing way to wind down the day.

5.00We had a nice sunset cruise. It was nice to be on a smaller boat and we were very comfortable with 5 guests and 3 staff. The hosts were very nice and fun. We enjoyed the open bar and the snacks were well done. The boat leaves from San Jose del Cabo which was great as we were staying there vs having to go to Cabo San Lucas. There is a nice, small beach for swimming where the boat takes off (one of the few swimming beaches around).
A great Hidden Gem! ( but not for long)

5.00Best crew in Puerto los Cabos! We are frequent guests for Open Waters. We live in San Jose. Why fight the traffic, parking, vendors hustling...this company offers stress free from start to finish! We love choosing our own music; friendly staff, great snacks and drinks, and the cruise up the East Cape never disappoints! A great hidden ( but not for long!) Gem!
Dolphins, wine, and romance! 10 out of 10.

5.00Mitzi, Jonathan, and the Captain were all amazing. Great communication when we had pre-trip questions, good driving insertions and a sunset cruise we will not soon forget. Joined by 2 dolphin pods, and a full moon, it was a spectacular end to an awesome day in SJDC.

5.00This sunset cruise was a unique and totally enjoyable experience. It was the only cruise we could find that went out of the San Jose del Cabo marina, rather than Cabo San Lucus. It is much smaller and less crowded and we had the boat to ourselves. Everyone at Openwater Expeditions was very welcoming! Jimmy "All Day" was our guide and he was very funny & knowledgeable about Cabo. We have been to Cabo many times & have taken many tours, but we still learned more about Cabo from Jimmy. Ed was our Captain - he was quieter, but also funny. Jaisther, the "boss", does wooden carvings of fish and whales. Mitsy helped us pick some out and we took them home along with sea shells for our grandkids. The cruise was very calm and we enjoyed the ride as we drank wine & ate fruit, cheese & prosciutto. We had never seen the sunset from this direction and it was beautiful! This was easily the best sunset cruise in Cabo!

5.00We had a very relaxing boat ride on a perfect evening in Cabo. The crew was very welcoming, and provided us with appetizers and beverages throughout the ride. The boat was very clean and comfortable, and it was nice to be out with just our small group of 4. I highly recommend this excursion.

5.00I cannot recommend Open Water Expeditions enough! We did their sunset cruise with 6 people, which fit us all perfectly! We were celebrating a birthday and the company went above and beyond without being asked! They decorated the boat with balloons, a garland and even provided a cake. The guide and driver were so friendly and put together appetizers and drinks throughout the 2 hour boat ride. When on the boat, we went out of the harbor and saw a beautiful sunset and even a pod of dolphins. Overall, the whole experience was so easy, enjoyable, and a 10/10!
