Shirley Heights is a restored military lookout and gun battery. The Lookout is a high point (about 490 ft.) that affords a superb view of English and Falmouth Harbours, the best view in Antigua. In this fantastic place every Thursday and Sunday at sunset you will have the opportunity to attend 2 typical Caribbean concerts: the first of calypso music and the second of mixed songs interpreted in a reggae key. At the Shirley Heights bar you can taste the best cocktails in all of Antigua, including the Rum Punch. The photo you can take at sunset will be an indelible memory of your holiday and this day.

5.00Our driver to Shirley Heights was Keanu. Told us a little history about the area as he drove us to event. Got us there timely and instructed us on how the lines for food and drink work. He stayed on location and when he saw us he did reach out to make sure we were good. The music, food, crowd was awesome and the sunset was amazing. Great pickup and drop off.
Great experience…absolutely a must do on your visit!!

5.00Pick up time was exactly as promised by the tour guide, although a little later than described on the ticket. We had just about 2 hours at Shirley Heights to get our BBQ and drinks and enjoy the amazing atmosphere. The Halcyon Steel Orchestra were amazing! The guide, Phoenix, was always on hand to advise where to queue for food vouchers and where to meet at the given time. She was very funny, a great personality. On the 45min drive there, she was giving us a guided tour of the places we were passing and clearly loves her homeland very much! Highly recommended tour!!

5.00Phoenix was knowledgeable, very personable and gave us a lot of history on the island! She gave great recommendations and made sure we had everything we needed at Shirley Heights. We did have to go to another resort to pick some other people up which made for a long ride, but she made sure we had fun!! We would highly recommend her!!

5.00Thursday’s and Sunday’s are EXTRA BUSY. Get there early if you want drinks and food. Our driver, Mr Andrew was phenominal and super knowledgeable of the Island. He was also VERY patient with the large group we went with. Five stars to him.

5.00We got a message to meet at the main gate...which was a hike up a hill... that was not a great start to the trip because most tours pick you up at the lobby and did not respond when I messaged for clarity... However Andrew aka Mr. AWESOME MADE EVERYTHING BETTER. HE WAS SO PROFESSIONAL AND KIND.

5.00Well the ride there was the highlight of the tour. Andrew the tour guide and ride there was outstanding, mixed personal Island experience with humor. Shirley heights beautiful but crowded, hard to get a drink and food and hard to sit and eat. Thinking for the view go up on a quiet night. Better pics better experience.

5.00Andrew was an amazing tour guide ! Had our group laughing and vibing the entire way. We learned quite a few things about the island and all had a fantastic time at the sunset party ! Food was amazing. Would definitely recommend to others !
