You will be on an exclusive personalized daytrip with your

trilingual Bahamian guide for the day. With me, your itinerary

can be changed to suit your preferences. We will visit all of the

local sites of interest in Freeport, Lucaya and the West End of Grand Bahama.

The highlight of this customized daytrip is Swimming with the Pigs at Crystal Beach. This is a unique fun activity for all the family to experience where you get to feed the pigs, pet them, hold them, swim with them, and enjoy the beautiful turquoise clear waters of the Bahamas. You will be interacting with the pigs, up close and personal.

After Swimming with the Pigs, you do have the option to Snorkel/Swim with the Turtles. Rental snorkel equipment is available at an additional cost. Afterwards, we tour West End, where you can try the best conch fritters and fresh conch salad on the waterfront in the oldest settlement and visit the Old Bahama Bay Resort and Marina.

This daytrip starts with touring the Open-Air Farmer's Market and visiting the Port Lucaya Marketplace. We will then head out to Swim with the Pigs for their first tour of the day. After you have swum with the pigs, you have the option to snorkel with the turtles if you like for an additional fee on site. After you have done both of these activities, we will then make our way to West End, the oldest settlement on Grand Bahama. During our tour of West End, you can sample the best conch fritters at Rosie's Chicken Nest and the best fresh conch salad at Shaebo's on the waterfront. We will then visit the prettiest beach at Old Bahama Bay Resort & Marina where you can enjoy a tropical cocktail sitting on the deck of their outdoor beach restaurant or simply take a stroll, have a swim or kick back in a hammock on their beautiful beach. The perfect ending to a fabulous day enjoying these two most exciting activities of Swimming with the Pigs as well as Snorkeling/Swimming with the Turtles all in one day. My daytrips are exclusive and customized to suit your preferences and you will be touring with your very own personal trilingual Bahamian island guide for the day.

The tour guide Hild went out of her way to custom tailor our trip to what WE wanted. We explained what we were most interested in, and also what we didn't care too much about. Worth every cent.
Not worth even $100.00 per person.

Not good !!! Worst tour. No wild pig island. Made us late for that (45 minutes) brought us next door to set up a snorke excursion ($160.00 more) to kill time while we waited for the next pig feeding had to have lunch there, another $50.00. At $275 per person I kind of thought lunch would be included. Went back to pigs walked 50 feet behind a fence and in to the water where they give you apple skewers then let the pigs out. Lots of pig crap in the water. Not at all what we expected. Then kept telling us it was ok to be 30-40 minutes late back to the cruise ship. We said no we have to be back at 3:30. Got us back at 3:50 captain was waiting for us pissed off. Almost missed it 😡😡 C. Venezia

Hida was so nice! She did an excellent job communicating with me before our trip and ensured that we saw everything we could see in the time we had on the island. Snorkeling with the turtles, although a little rushed, was our favorite part! The only thing is there was a misunderstanding regarding tips. If you book this tour be sure to budget extra cash for tips!

We had a great day with Hida. Her car was clean and comfortable. The schedule was flexible and tailored to our interests. Hida took us swimming with the pigs which was truly a once in a lifetime experience. We also went snorkeling next door and saw a variety of fish and a few sea turtles. Hida was very knowledgeable of local sites, customs, and landmarks. We learned a lot about Grand Bahama that we never knew. Ended the day having a late lunch at Banana Bay restaurant. It’s situated on a beautiful beach / sand bar with crystal blue water.
Fab day out, fed the pigs!!

We spent an enjoyable tour of the island with our guide. Her knowledge of the history and culture of the island is remarkable. Your day can be tailored to your personal requirements. Do take in the open air farmer's market, with Miss Brenda's conch fritters. A swim with the pigs is a must! So much fun!
Do this instead of your cruise ship excursions!

Hida was great and really tailored this experience to what we were interested in. She knows everyone on the island and clearly cares about both her guests and local Bahamians. We opted to hire Hida instead of using the cruise ship excursions because we wanted to see the real Grand Bahama. We still got to do the pig swim that the cruise offered, but got so much more. Thanks to Michael, too! We enjoyed our snorkel swim!

We loved swimming with the pigs and even added snorkeling with a guide to our day. Kids had a blast and saw lots of creatures (fish, turtles, stingray)It was great to be with Hida and not on a crowded bus. She took us to shop and try the best conch fritters!

My daughter and I joined Hida, from Experience Grand Bahama, to tour the West End, swim with the pigs and snorkel with turtles. We had a ball! Hida is attentive and flexible to make the tour exactly what you want it to be. Her car was very clean and she followed all health protocols, which we appreciated. Hida clearly knows how to make guests feel cared for. Highly recommend!

Me and my sister did the swim with pigs/swim with turtles.. and it was so much fun! The tour guides were very knowledgeable and experienced and very fun! I am glad that we did both tours :") highly recommend

My husband and I spent two days with Hida- one day touring the West, the other touring the East. Each day, Hida picked us up at the resort and brought us back--she even brought a cooler of water to keep us hydrated during the day. The first day, we stopped at the brewery, toured the West and swam with the pigs at Crystal Beach, went snorkeling and swimming with the sea turtles at Paradise Cove, and had a great lunch at the beautiful and tranquil Teasers Tiki Bar in the West End, on Old Bahama Bay. Along the way, we watched how conchs are removed from their shells and stopped at a blue swimming hole only a local could tell you about. On day two, we traveled through the East and saw the dolphins being fed, (we had already been shopping in Lucaya, so we didn't stop there again), went to Taino Beach and Banana Bay, Millionaire's Row, Lucayan National Park, the Garden of the Groves, and ate a delicious lunch (packed by Hida) on Gold Rock Beach. Hida personalized our experience, even helping my husband look for a sand dollar (he collects them everywhere we go!) She shared the history of the island and people, bringing their experiences to life. Hida's car was clean, everyone sanitized frequently, masks were required. She personalized our experience based on what we were interested in and was thoughtful in paying attention to small details. She even took pictures of us, so we could enjoy the moments and each other. We highly recommend Hida and will be sure to meet with her again when we return in the Spring.
