Taroko National Park
One of Taiwan’s most famous destinations, Taroko National Park is known for its marble canyons, lush forests, and towering peaks. The Liwu River has carved the stunning 18 km Taroko Gorge, where sheer marble cliffs rise above turquoise waters. Our visit includes highlights such as the Taroko Gorge Entrance Arch, Visitor Center, and scenic viewpoints along the gorge. Although some trails remain closed due to the April 2024 earthquake, your experienced guide will take you to the best open spots with breathtaking views and hidden photo opportunities. We dedicate a significant part of the day to exploring Taroko, with short walks, plenty of photo stops, and a relaxed pace. Sightseeing duration may vary with traffic, weather, or park rules, but your guide will adjust the itinerary to ensure the best experience. This full-day tour usually lasts around 8 hours, so starting before 8:30 AM is recommended.

5.00We loved our experience with this tour. We had Sam as our tour guide and he was incredible. Given the circumstances with the earthquake, we were still able to visit so much and learn a lot as Sam was very insightful. We totally recommend this tour if you are in the Hualien area!

5.00Big thanks to mr vincent for his exceptionally professional and detailed explanation. He also very perceptive and flexible to change the destinations as needed in order to cater the day tour to our needs(my mom can't walk/hike for long distances). Very satisfied with this tour and would definitely come back to Hualien again with this personal tour again in future once Hualien is recovered from 2024's earthquake

5.00We had a full day tour today (8/1) with our guide. We were able to find him very quickly after disembarking from the train. He was very helpful and kind. He was able to give us plenty of facts and information. The hike to the waterfall was beautiful. He even went out of his way to help guide us around the train station so we could make it back to Taipei! Overall very good experience, 10/10 would do again!

5.00It was amazing - very educational, fun, and exceeded expectations. Alex, our tour guide was brilliant, he was knowledgeable, punctual, kind, funny, patient and made the tour worth every single cent. I was nervous about the tour not being worth the while with the closure. My fears were unfounded, the Taroko Gorge, despite having the walking trail closed, was still worth seeing where we drove through and Alex knew the best spots to stop for the best views. My favourite part was the trail at the end which opened up to a waterfall, perfect, calming way to end the tour. Alex also kindly recommended places to eat and and also patiently attended to our needs. He’s a happy, positive human who educated us on a lot of history and general knowledge, we absolutely loved him.
Take this tour! So worth it!

5.00Our tour guide was Lion. He was such a happy friendly person from the start! We talked to him about our tour we were a family of seven including kids and he really did such a good job of catering to our family. He was thoughtful and everything he took us to was amazing. We only had one full day in Hualien and he made sure we did so many activities! I highly recommend him and this tour! Absolutely made our time in Hualien beyond expectations!!
