This was an amazing walking tour with Erol who was very informative and knowledgeable on all things food and Istanbul. We had 4 in our group and we were all from Australia and it was just the right size. The places, restaurants and food were all outstanding and the history as explained by Erol just added to the experience. The 4hrs flew and we never stopped eating, Erol took us to places that we would probably never have found or knew what they were about but now we do and we will certainly be exploring more of this wonderful city and these hidden gems. Highly recommend this tour and if you are lucky enough you will have Erol as your tour guide, thanks Erol for a wonderful morning walking through your part of Istanbul!!!

Erol spent the half day with us- it was a delight for him to share Turkish foods and drinks. He is knowledgeable, personal, and funny! He was a wealth of information- we were four seniors and happy to walk and visit with Erol- so fun!

What a great experience! We were removed from the hussle and bustle and overcrowded areas and taken to where the locals eat and shop. Erol our personal guide was amazing and shared so much history and background of the different districts, the food, Turkish coffee, the comfort foods he grew up with. He spent an extra hour with us showing us additional sites. I would highly recommend this tour and if you can request Erol, you’ll be assured a wonderful time!

Erol was amazing. He Gave great information and took his time and explained the history and background of each food and drink. Loved that we got to enjoy local non tourist areas with local flavor.

The most amazing tour on our trip. It exceeded our expectations. We stopped by only local small shops to get authentic local foods. Our guide Erol was friendly and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this to anyone that is interested in the real foods and history of Istanbul.
