Embark on a 2-day journey through the Caucasus Mountains, visiting Jinvali Water Reservoir, Ananuri Fortress, and Gudauri Ski Resort before an overnight stay in Kazbegi (summer) or Gudauri (winter).
Day 1: Hotel pickup at 8:10 AM. Stop for coffee, then visit Jinvali (15 min) and Ananuri (1 hr). Enjoy lunch and seasonal activities in Gudauri. If weather allows, continue to Kazbegi.
Day 2 – Choose Your Option:
Option 1: Standard – Free day in Kazbegi.
Option 2: Hiking – Includes Gveleti Waterfall hike (12:00– 3:00PM).
Option 3: Full Experience – Hike + sunset horseback ride (5:00 PM).
Return:
Summer – depart from Rooms Hotel Kazbegi at 7 PM, arrive in Tbilisi ~11 PM.
Winter – pickup from Gudauri Loft at 6 PM, arrive ~9 PM.
Drop-off: All guests dropped at Radisson Blu Tbilisi.

Tbilisi to Kazbegi (or Gudauri in Winter)
Rose Revolution Square
We meet you in front of Radisson Blu Iveria at 8:30 am. (Rose revolution square. 50m from Rustaveli metro station) You will see our tour leader holding a red scarf. If you are a group of more than 4 person, We pick you up from your hotel and take you to the Caucasus mountains.
Jinvali Reservoir is located Along the Georgian military highway. Wonderful place to take amazing pictures, blue-colored water between three cordilleras.
Ananuri Fortified Castle Ensemble
Ananuri fortress dates to the XVI-XVIII centuries and it is situated on the foreland by the river Aragvi. Ananuri was a castle and seat of the Eristavis (Dukes) of Aragvi, a feudal dynasty that ruled the area from the 13th century. The castle was the scene of numerous battles. This is a perfect place for landscape photography, there are amazingly beautiful views of the fortress and Jinvali reservoir together. The fortress remained in use until the beginning of the 19th century. In 2007, the complex has been on the tentative list for inclusion into the UNESCO World Heritage Site program.
Unique possibility to have lunch in beautiful nature. Try super delicious, homemade, traditional dishes, and most important Khinkali, because you are in the homeland of these dumplings. You can go rafting before lunch, which is a great experience.
Gudauri
In case of good weather, you have the possibility to try Paragliding in Gudauri. Paragliding experience isn't our service and that is extra cost approximately 100 USD.
Russian Georgian Friendship Monument
Activities or visit Friendship Monument Georgia-Russia (optional) The Russia–Georgia Friendship Monument is a monument built in 1983 to celebrate the bicentennial of the Treaty of Georgievsk and the ongoing friendship between Soviet Georgia and Soviet Russia. Located on the Georgian Military Highway between the ski resort town of Gudauri and the Jvari pass, the monument is a large round stone and concrete structure overlooking the Devil's Valley in the Caucasus Mountains. Gudauri ski resort, is located on the south-facing plateau of the Greater Caucasus Mountain Range in Georgia. The resort is situated in the Stepantsminda District, at an elevation of 2,200 meters, above sea level with a skiing area enjoying maximum exposure to the sun. Gudauri is located in the heart of the Caucasus Mountains. The resort takes on a whole new life as a fabulous sightseeing destination with fresh air, superior areas for horse-riding, mountain biking, hiking, paragliding, etc.
Stepantsminda
Stepantsminda (Kazbegi) is known for its scenic location in the Greater Caucasus Mountains, and is a center for trekkers and mountain climbing. Local attractions include Mount Kazbegi itself and the alpine meadows and forests of the surrounding Kazbegi Nature Reserve and Gergeti Trinity Church Outside of town. Therefore in Kazbegi village, we rent a special car (5-7$ per person) to take us to the top of the mountain to visit Gergeti Trinity Church.
Gergeti Trinity Church
Gergeti Trinity Church is a popular name for Holy Trinity Church near the village of Gergeti. The church is situated on the right bank of the river Chkheri and under Mount Kazbegi at an elevation of 2170 meters. The Gergeti Trinity Church was built in the 14th century and is the only cross-cupola church in Khevi province. In times of danger, precious relics from Mtskheta, including Saint Nino's Cross were brought here for safekeeping. During the Soviet era, all religious services were prohibited, but the church remained a popular tourist destination. The church is now an active establishment of the Georgian Orthodox and Apostolic Church. From the church, you will get an epic panoramic view of the whole valley. The church due to its isolation in the steep mountainous area full of nature, the church remains the most iconic tourist attraction in Georgia. We will be impressed with the view of Mount Kazbegi, which is 5047 m high.
After finishing the experience we recommend staying in Kazbegi. We can leave you at Rooms hotel Kazbegi oe any other hotel in Stepantsminda(Kazbegi) or Gudauri. We arrive at Rooms hotel around 6:00 PM.

5.00Giorgi is an excellent guide, very friendly, attentive and who knows his subject well. The 2 stops in Gudauri are too long, especially the 2nd if you do not want to do the commercial activities offered. The rest of the trip is perfect.

5.00It was a wonderful tour experience. Our guide, Otio, was truly an excellent guide. He was extremely polite, warm, and friendly towards us. Throughout the tour, he stayed in constant communication to ensure we felt comfortable. The time allocated at each stop along the tour routes was quite sufficient. I only wish we could have spent a little more time at the Gergeti Church and its surroundings. Thank you very much for these wonderful services.

5.00The most recommended in the world, the trip is worth the money, a crazy experience with amazing views. We had a guy named Oto. He explains everything clearly, has good energy and makes sure everyone understands everything. Even if you don't know the best English, you can be sure that you will understand almost everything because he explains in simple language. They take you to places you wouldn't get to on your own and it's very worthwhile. Every shekel is worth it. The driver is very funny and cute and the people on the trip are sociable. There were no problems, they took us from the hotel with a taxi in the morning and made sure to update us on everything and be in touch with any questions when we stayed in Kazbegi and were without a guide. They will recommend food, ideas for entertainment, will give you enough time to take pictures and will take pictures of you if you ask. Many thanks to Oto, the best guide

5.00The first day we spent with Oto, he was a great Tour guide, very communicative and helpful. We stayed in Kazbegi for one night, did hiking in Truso Valley by ourself and came back with Toko who was also very nice and friendly. So we highly recommend this Tour for those who want to spent some time with locals and get some konwledge from the first hand.

5.00I took the tour to Kazbegi with Bubu, and he was amazing. It is really nice to see such a young guy handling a big group of people while showing and teaching a lot about the country. As the other guides from this company, he was really nice and willing to help people. In that specific tour to Kazgebi on June 23rd, there was a group of 4 Indian friends being late in almost every stop, and I believe Bubu handled it quite well to make sure the rest of the group would not wait long for them, even though they were being quite inconvenient about it, especially at the end where they would just keep chatting while he tried to talk about the history of Rooms Hotel.
