Join a 2-day Caucasus adventure. Visit Jinvali Reservoir, Ananuri Fortress, and Gudauri, then stay overnight in Kazbegi or Gudauri.
Day 1: Hotel pick-up at 8:10 AM.Quick supermarket stop, 15-min view at Jinvali, 40–60 min at Ananuri, lunch at a mountain restaurant. Spend ~2 hours in Gudauri (summer: Monument, paragliding, quattro; winter: skiing, snowmobile, winter paragliding). If weather allows, continue to Kazbegi and take an optional 4WD to Gergeti at sunset (20 GEL). Overnight in Kazbegi/Gudauri. Drop-off at selected hotels; taxi help available (10–20 GEL).
Day 2:
Standard: Free time; depart Kazbegi 5 PM / Gudauri 6 PM.
Hiking (May–Dec): Includes guided Gveleti hike (12–3 PM).
Standard + Horse riding (May–Dec): Ride at 10 AM.
Full Experience (May–Dec): Horse riding at 10 AM + Gveleti hike at 12 PM + 5 PM departure.
Return to Tbilisi ~8–10 PM. Final drop-off at Radisson Blu Tbilisi.

Tbilisi to Kazbegi (or Gudauri in Winter)
Rose Revolution Square
We meet you in front of Radisson Blu Iveria at 8:30 am. (Rose revolution square. 50m from Rustaveli metro station) You will see our tour leader holding a red scarf. If you are a group of more than 4 person, We pick you up from your hotel and take you to the Caucasus mountains.
Jinvali Reservoir is located Along the Georgian military highway. Wonderful place to take amazing pictures, blue-colored water between three cordilleras.
Ananuri fortress complex
Ananuri fortress dates to the XVI-XVIII centuries and it is situated on the foreland by the river Aragvi. Ananuri was a castle and seat of the Eristavis (Dukes) of Aragvi, a feudal dynasty that ruled the area from the 13th century. The castle was the scene of numerous battles. This is a perfect place for landscape photography, there are amazingly beautiful views of the fortress and Jinvali reservoir together. The fortress remained in use until the beginning of the 19th century. In 2007, the complex has been on the tentative list for inclusion into the UNESCO World Heritage Site program.
Unique possibility to have lunch in beautiful nature. Try super delicious, homemade, traditional dishes, and most important Khinkali, because you are in the homeland of these dumplings. You can go rafting before lunch, which is a great experience.
Gudauri
In case of good weather, you have the possibility to try Paragliding in Gudauri. Paragliding experience isn't our service and that is extra cost approximately 100 USD.
Russian Georgian Friendship Monument
Activities or visit Friendship Monument Georgia-Russia (optional) The Russia–Georgia Friendship Monument is a monument built in 1983 to celebrate the bicentennial of the Treaty of Georgievsk and the ongoing friendship between Soviet Georgia and Soviet Russia. Located on the Georgian Military Highway between the ski resort town of Gudauri and the Jvari pass, the monument is a large round stone and concrete structure overlooking the Devil's Valley in the Caucasus Mountains. Gudauri ski resort, is located on the south-facing plateau of the Greater Caucasus Mountain Range in Georgia. The resort is situated in the Stepantsminda District, at an elevation of 2,200 meters, above sea level with a skiing area enjoying maximum exposure to the sun. Gudauri is located in the heart of the Caucasus Mountains. The resort takes on a whole new life as a fabulous sightseeing destination with fresh air, superior areas for horse-riding, mountain biking, hiking, paragliding, etc.
Stepantsminda
Stepantsminda (Kazbegi) is known for its scenic location in the Greater Caucasus Mountains, and is a center for trekkers and mountain climbing. Local attractions include Mount Kazbegi itself and the alpine meadows and forests of the surrounding Kazbegi Nature Reserve and Gergeti Trinity Church Outside of town. Therefore in Kazbegi village, we rent a special car (5-7$ per person) to take us to the top of the mountain to visit Gergeti Trinity Church.
Gergeti Trinity Church
Gergeti Trinity Church is a popular name for Holy Trinity Church near the village of Gergeti. The church is situated on the right bank of the river Chkheri and under Mount Kazbegi at an elevation of 2170 meters. The Gergeti Trinity Church was built in the 14th century and is the only cross-cupola church in Khevi province. In times of danger, precious relics from Mtskheta, including Saint Nino's Cross were brought here for safekeeping. During the Soviet era, all religious services were prohibited, but the church remained a popular tourist destination. The church is now an active establishment of the Georgian Orthodox and Apostolic Church. From the church, you will get an epic panoramic view of the whole valley. The church due to its isolation in the steep mountainous area full of nature, the church remains the most iconic tourist attraction in Georgia. We will be impressed with the view of Mount Kazbegi, which is 5047 m high.
After finishing the experience we recommend staying in Kazbegi. We can leave you at Rooms hotel Kazbegi in Stepantsminda(Kazbegi) or Gudauri. We arrive at Rooms hotel around 5 PM.

1.00I booked this guided tour through GetYourGuide and followed the organiser’s recommendations, including contacting them to obtain an hotel contact so I could get the best rate (instead of booking through platforms like Booking.com). They gave me the hotel manager’s phone number, but she never replied for more than three weeks, except once to say she had booked us into a different hotel that I did not want. Because of the lack of response, I eventually informed the tour organiser, BFT GROUP, that I had reserved another hotel on my own. Later, I discovered a mistake in this new reservation and tried to contact the hotel. The phone number was not assigned, Booking.com told me they couldn’t help, and when I searched for the hotel’s email address and sent a message, I received a bounce-back saying the email address did not exist. I explained this situation to the tour organiser, saying I couldn’t reach the hotel, that the contact details seemed invalid, and that the situation felt suspicious. Instead of helping, they responded in a rude and disrespectful manner, accusing me of seeing scams everywhere and practically pushing me to cancel the tour because they didn’t want me with their group. They also complained that I had “disturbed” them even before arriving in Georgia. A guided tour company is supposed to guide and assist clients, especially when this support is clearly mentioned in the activity description. Unfortunately, in my case, I experienced poor communication, no real assistance, and a lack of respect. Very disappointing experience. I warmly recommend Friends of Georgia instead.

3.00Zuka and Toko, the guides are super helpful and amazing. Kudos to them What made me upset is the driver Zaza and his cold attitude towards the Indians. He was friendly with everyone but his attitude becomes cold and angry the moment Indians ask for any small help such as opening the boot for getting something from the bag I slipped from the footboard of the vehicle and protected myself by holding the tray in the vehicle. There was a slight damage which I agree could be my mistake. Instead of reasoning with me and asking me to pay a compensation, Zaza resorted to shouting at me in Georgian and trying to humiliate me infront of other passengers I don’t generally call racism so quickly as I understand that people’s behaviour might vary based on their comfort with other people. But Zaza’s behaviour is truly upsetting. His friendly smile turns to any angry face the minute he sees Indians

5.00My 2 days trip from Tbilisi to gudauri and visit it kazbegi was wonderful, visited 4 places and a Georgian restaurant everything was great. My guide zuka was very friendly and made the trip memorable, also dr Sasha who organised the entire trip was very helpful and was on constant communication

5.00It was a wonderful experience overall. Oto our guide was very friendly and explained us the different sight seeing with details. He made sure we are safe to travel till Gudauri and for few till Kazbegi. He is also experienced in his profession and helped us in getting good food in reasonable price and nevertheless helped us in getting some of ours good clicks. Thanks!!

5.00Best trip hands-down, thanks to Kate (and her driver) from BFT group! She was very knowledgeable about the places we visited. She had a very positive, friendly and one of the loveliest attitudes! Not to mention the really competitive price for the number of places we visited, I'd definitely recommend this group if you're touring the caucuses in Georgia. Well done, Kate and group!

5.00We had a great time with our host Toko on day 1. He was informative, well organised, fun and engaging! Happy Birthday Toko! The transfer back on Day 2 was well organised after we have almost a day of free time in Gudauri.
