Teide National Park
This is a long and hard climb to Teide, (44km, 5% avg) but is well worth the hard effort. Before reaching the cable car, we will pass through small villages, forest areas and beautiful viewpoints, where there will be lots of opportunities to take photos and to enjoy the view of Puerto de la Cruz, the bay and the Atlantic Ocean. The last 11 kilometers will take us through the Teide national park, with the landscape now shifting to be more raw, appearing more like the surface of Mars or the Moon, rather than Earth! A really amazing and breathtaking view. After the long climb and well deserved break, we make the long descent back to Puerto de la Cruz. Distance: 94 km, Altitude climb: 2400m BIKE IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE. Our guide will contact you and will give you options for bike, pedals, sizes etc. Our bike prices: Aluminium €26, Carbon €32, Carbon with disc breaks €36

5.00Great experience. Very good guide who knows what you need. Hy listens and give extra info about the Forrest en vegetations on the mountain. Easy to connect.

5.00We joined a group consisting of another couple and a single. We all chose EBikes which we highly recommend ( there are some serious climbs. ) We all had an excitement to explore this incredible terrain, with different skill levels , the E-bike helps level the playing field ! Rob our host guide did a great job, making sure we were all safe and getting the most out of the ride. I recommend your own bike back pack with water and snacks for energy . It is a great ride and long so some energy food is great for a break half way through. The shop had a great selection of bikes and made sure we were comfortable and secure on the bike before loading for transport. This is a must do in Tenerife and this company is a great choose.

5.00Superb experience as this climb of Teide from Aguamansa with Alberto as guide, very beautiful day, crossed the Jumbo Visma in training camp, I recommend to all cycling enthusiasts, not to be missed, D+ 1500 from Aguamensa to the cable car.

5.00Brilliant one to one guided tour. Alberto knows the routes really well , he was great company and obviously a very experienced cyclist. He picked me up from my hotel and took me to the bike shop to fit me with a suitable bike. If you want to climb the mountain I would highly recommend this company for their professional and friendly service . Excellent value for money

5.00Excellent day out with Jasper from Ride Base. Had to take the longer route due to road closures on the Mountain but Jasper coached me up the brutal climb to Teide - all about 2500m of climbing and a PB for me in a single day. Words of encouragement, biscuits along the way and the odd ‘suck it up and pedal’ from Jasper who pushed me all the way to make sure I didn’t bail on the climb. The effort was rewarded by a fantastic views, 45 descent (max speed about 85kmph 🚴💨) and a cold beer next door to the shop. Decent bikes with generous gearing, very smooth roads particularly on the descent and courteous driver who are very patient. All in all a grand day and one to brag about with the cycle club back home.
