  We were in safe hands with Jaime and got to know a new dimension of Tenerife. He enriched the hikes with nature education and interesting places. All plans were met and we are still recalling interesting places and perspectives. He was considerate and cheerful. One of the best guides we have ever met.

  I cannot speak highly enough of Jaime and Feel Tenerife tours! This was our second tour with Jaime, and again he exceeded expectations in every way. This time, my wife and I brought along our best friends for a tour of the Teide National Park from our too-short cruise port-stop at Santa Cruz de Tenerife. As before, Jaime responded to all of my pre-cruise emails promptly and warmly. With the excellent information Jaime provided, including annotated port-area maps, we were able to meet him at his waiting, super-comfortable, super-quiet, fully-electric Mercedes van and be off on our tour within minutes of our ship’s arrival. Jaime is a certified guide, with many years of university training in the fascinating culture and nature of Tenerife. He freely and engagingly shared with us his immense knowledge of the history and ecology of Tenerife and his deep personal commitment to the environment. While both my wife and I have toured volcanic areas in North and South America, Hawaii, Southern Europe and more , we have never, ever, have experienced in one place the variety and scope of volcanic action and features present around El Teide. Jaime’s intriguing, in-depth explanations brought all of these to life, often exposing fascinating details right in front of us that we’d have missed without his direction. As a bonus, we were treated to Tenerife’s signature drink, the Barraquito, a luscious coffee and local-liquor concoction enjoyed daily on Tenerife as a convivial morning and afternoon reset. Jaime offers many more itineraries beyond our abbreviated if enthralling tour customized to match our short port-stop time. We are certain to return for more experiences with Jaime and Feel Tenerife. HIGHLY recommended!!!

  Jamie was a very smooth and pleasant guide. We had booked this trip in advance for our trip. When we were picked up at our hotel it was a private tour as you have to be at least 2 and we were 2. So a nice advantage. We drove to the North and the nice thing about the tour is that you stop at the sights but also always get some time off at the places themselves to take beautiful pictures or go exploring for yourself. We wanted another picture with the banana plants and Jamie has returned especially for us to take a picture. During the ride we also talked about everything and everything.   We recently visited Tenerife for eight days. On three of those days we booked Feel Tenerife’s Tenerife North Ports and Villages tour, Anaga tour and Secrets of the Volcanoes tour. We could not recommend these tours more highly. Jaime is an extremely personable and knowledgeable guide and it was a pleasure to spend time with him. Each of these tours is unique and tailor made to demonstrate the incredible diversity and beauty of the island. The tours are well paced and fascinating and the tour van is comfortable and spacious. Jaime loves Tenerife and he wants his guests to see the island through his eyes. Jaime made our holiday and we would love to return to explore more of this beautiful island.

  Jaime is the best guide in Tenerife. I went on other tours but Jaime’s knowledge and attention to detail makes him a cut above the rest. I felt like I came away with a deep understanding of the island’s culture, history and daily life. What a wonderful day, I will always remember it. His passion for Tenerife is infectious!   Feel Tenerife ....and indeed we did ! Through the eyes and guidance of Jaime, we explored the hidden secrets of Northern Tenerife. From family run wine houses to dining in a restaurant that feels like being in someone's home....well you get the idea. Different, lots of detail, history about the island, the topography, the natural habitants like the birds, the goats, the flora and fauna. We experienced the real Tenerife away from hoards of people and concrete. We saw local life and yes felt the warmth. The beauty,the soul of this island so many call home. We had a wheelchair and still managed to visit many sites and villages.Magical vista's and viewpoints to admire the wonders of a volcanic island. Jaime was personable and very knowledgeable about the island. His passion and enthusiasm becomes your passion. It's contagious !! :-) it was truly a wonderful experience and the hours flew by. Before we knew it it was time to say goodbye. We look forward to experiencing another tour with Jaime to feel more of charming Tenerife. A great big thanks Jaime for making my mom's bday week so memorable.

  Excellent day with Jamie. His English was very good and his in vehicle sound system means you can hear every word clearly as we travel around, even sat right at the back. It was an enlightening tour showing parts of the island away from the standard tourist traps. Highly recommended. Thanks again Jamie. Dave and Sally

  Discovering the good taste of a small barrack sitting in the cool of a Canarian patio in the Orotava is one of the delis that you can find if you take this tour with Jaime. It will also adapt to what you like, climb you to spectacular viewpoints because you know the island to the dedillo and tell you in detail the history of the places that are visited. Besides, if you want, he'll take some great pictures. He is an offbeat guide; he loves what he does and so you enjoy every minute of the tour.
