What makes Tennent’s Lager Scotland’s favourite beer? The Tennent’s Brewery Tour to discover the inner workings of Wellpark Brewery - home to over 450 years of brewing tradition and award winning beers, and enjoy a pint of the freshest Tennent’s Lager on house! Your guided tour starts at the Tennent’s Story heritage centre where you’ll be taken on an immersive journey through the history of Scotland’s oldest brewery. Artefacts gathered from the first days of brewing at Wellpark in 1556 through to today will reveal the origins, production and provenance of the famous beer. Then discover how Tennent’s became part of Scottish culture and marvel at moments from our iconic advertising campaigns, T in the Park festival and more. No brewery tour would be complete without a pint of the good stuff! After you’ve discovered the craft behind our legendary brew, you’ll be taken to our tasting experience for a free pint of brewery fresh Tennent’s Tank Beer pored straight from our copper tanks.

5.00This is a great tour as it actually tours the production facility not a museum tour. Callum was our guide. He had a great understanding of the history and made it all super interesting and relevant to both tourists and local visitors

5.00A real, authentic, working brewery, not a fossilised museum price like many others. An incredibly knowledgeable tour guide shared his enthusiasm and passion for the place and gave us a great insider’s view of the place. Highly recommended.

5.00Excellent tour hosted by Calum. It’s a working brewery and the visit reflects that, but this also means that it’s a genuine experience rather than just being aimed at tourists - you see some of the day to day workings. The main brewery room and the canning/bottling plants are amazing. Tour is rounded off with a pint in the bar, or more if you sign up the flight experience, which I’d highly recommend. Calum, Tony and Dan do a fantastic job of hosting this. Highly recommended.

5.00Was a great tour with Tony. Really informative about the brewery and Glasgow as a whole. Really good behind the scenes at a working brewery, reccomend adding the beer flight at the end.
