The Tennent’s Brewery Tour to discover the inner workings of Wellpark Brewery - home to over 450 years of brewing tradition and award winning beers, and enjoy a pint of the freshest Tennent’s Lager on house! Your guided tour starts at the Tennent’s Story heritage centre where you’ll be taken on an immersive journey through the history of Scotland’s oldest brewery. Artefacts gathered from the first days of brewing at Wellpark in 1556 through to today will reveal the origins, production and provenance of the famous beer. Then discover how Tennent’s became part of Scottish culture and marvel at moments from our iconic advertising campaigns, T in the Park festival and more. No brewery tour would be complete without a pint of the good stuff! After you’ve discovered the craft behind our legendary brew, you’ll be taken to our tasting experience for a free pint of brewery fresh Tennent’s Tank Beer pored straight from our copper tanks.

5.00Great experience. We hadn’t appreciated how long a history the Tennent’s brewery had. Fascinating. Our guide Stuart (or is it Stewart, we forgot to ask), was very knowledgeable and added just the right amount of humour to his narrative to keep it light.

5.00Did the tour as part of my Dad's birthday! We both thoroughly enjoyed it and Stuart was an excellent guide! Highly recommend including the beer tasting at the end as I would never have discovered the Bavarian Pilsner without it, excellent Tennents product!

5.00Great afternoon at the Tennents brewery tour. Tour guide Stuart was excellent, very knowledgeable & friendly. He made the tour a pleasure. I would 100% recommend this tour as I was pleasantly surprised. Extremely interesting & great pint of Tennents to round the day off. I'd definitely return to do it again.

5.00We went on this tour even though staying in Glasgow never done it before our tour guide Stuart was excellent and funny very knowledgeable never knew they have a stout they don’t sell in the uk it was great tasted like a expresso martini get it on the market tennents definitely missing out there all of us were in agreement first class tour highly recommend

5.00Well worth the price ofadmission! Our tour guide Stuart was excellent. Fun, friendly and informative. Got to learn loads about the history of the brewery and local area. Lovely free pint of Tennents fresh as you can get. Also tried Tennents own stout which is not available in the UK and it was simply beautiful, smooth and a little sweet. They nearly need to sort it out and get that stuff on the market.

5.00Great visit and tour of the brewery. Our tour guide Stewart was fantastic, incredibly knowledgeable and had us laughing along the way. Would highly recommend this experience to anyone! Learned so much about Glasgow and most importantly Tennents!

5.00We had a great tour with Mars, really fun to learn all about the brewing process of my favourite beer. It was nice that Mars asked us specifically what we were interested in and felt like they tailored the tour to us. We said history and they made a huge effort to point out lots of interesting historical aspects of the brewery which we loved. Highly recommend adding the tasting flight at the end

5.00Brilliant tour led by Mars. I learned a lot and had a great laugh. Poured a lovely crisp pint too. Shoutout Tony for teaching this guy everything he knows.
