Hot air balloon flights are completely dependent on weather conditions. The direction and speed of the flight depends on the wind, so sometimes there is the possibility of not flying over the archaeological site.
Children under 5 years of age are not allowed to take the balloon flight.
People under the influence of alcoholic beverages are not allowed to fly.

If you select the option, we will pick you up at the entrance of your hotel in Mexico City (Only at touristic areas, subject to availability)
Upon arrival at the Volare Balloon Port, you will need to check in. Afterward, you can enjoy a delicious coffee while watching the balloons inflate. Then we will take off and fly over Teotihuacan.

5.00I took a bus from my hotel in Mexico City to the location of the take off. It took about 20 minutes to get to the take off location from my hotel in Old Town. Once you're there you will be greeted by a host who will direct you to register. After you register, you wait outside for your chance to board one of the many hot air balloons. Our pilot was very skilled. You fly over the ancient ruins and land. It felt like about an hour in the air. Once you're done, the pilot brings out champagne to toast a safe arrival. You then travel back to the takeoff location for breakfast. It was super fun.

5.00Great experience! Operator was well knowledgeable and the trip was beautiful. Only note: if you go in a group of more than 5 they will separate your group. Wish they’d arranged it better so it wasn’t just one person by themselves but good experience!

4.00Everyone (tour guides, balloon operators, staff at check in, etc) were extremely nice and considerate. I was feeling queasy and they made sure I could feel comfortable. With that said, definitely wish we skipped the ground tour since the nausea persisted (unrelated to the elevation) and the van ride back was through non stop traffic.

5.00Everything was well managed, from the pickup, check in, breakfast and of course the ride itself. I opted for the guided tour of the pyramids and our guide Enrique was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. Would definitely recommend.
