From rich flavourful curries like BUTTER CHICKEN to BIRYANI RICE and a wide variety of healthy and tasty NAAN BREADS , you’ll learn about time honoured cooking techniques and the subtle nuances that can make all the difference. Things to note : - The class & menu includes 4 MAIN DISHES & 3 BREADS. - Menu can be customised to vegan/vegetarian/gluten free. - Recipes would be provided. - Please let us know if any menu preference/dietary constraints. - Private sessions can be booked too Leave with a knowledge of spices, recipes and an ability to whip up Indian dishes in your own kitchen, and a full stomach!

5.00We cooked (and subsequently ate) butter chicken with Neha, which provided a real insight into home cooking 'Indian style' and was hugely enjoyable. Neha is not only a highly competent chef but also excellent company. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with her.

5.00First rate experience, absolutely recommend. The class de-mystified Indian cuisine. I feel much more confident about preparing dishes. The classroom atmosphere and the dining room are lovely. Neha is an excellent instructor. I hope to take another class with her. Truly the highlight of my visit to New Delhi.

5.00I learned so much about Indian cooking from Neha and the food we prepared was delicious. Neha explained each step and what we needed to do a when. The class was only four people so we all got to know each other. It was a lovely way to spend an afternoon and experience Indian hospitality.

5.00If you do one thing in Delhi, make it Saffron Palate. Our private cooking class was an absolute highlight of the trip. Our host was warm, funny, and genuinely passionate about Indian cuisine. The food we made was incredible and the conversation even better. We left with full stomachs, real recipes we'll actually use, and honestly just a great feeling about the whole experience. Don't think twice — just book it.

5.00A group of 7 friends - visiting India for the first time, attended Neha's cooking class Saffron Palate. It takes place in a lovely kitchen setup in her cosy home in Delhi. Neha is a wonderful, friendly person and imparted her cooking and food expertise with warmth and love. The kitchen was setup for cooking in pairs and cooking process well organised and efficiently run. Neha explained all the spices and their use as well as the cooking processes. We cooked several dishes (that time allowed) and presented a couple of extras that we could partake of when we all sat down to enjoy at lunch. This tour was indeed a highlight of our India trip and I thoroughly recommend the experience at Saffron Palate in New Delhi.

5.00We took an Uber to the Saffron Palate, which went very well. Once there we were warmly welcomed. Neha is a very dear hostess. The cooking class was super prepared, our preferences were taken into account and ended up making 4 dishes, a side dish and 3 breads. Everything was delicious. We would definitely come back.
Highly recommend this class to anyone wanting to learn Indian cooking!

5.00I would recommend a cooking class with Neha to everyone! Her descriptions of ingredients and cooking processes were clear and easy to follow. I’ve cooked Indian food a long time, but hadn’t been able to figure out a few technical aspects on my own. Having her show me what to look for at different points of the process was so helpful! Besides an excellent learning experience, Neha is also super friendly and interesting to chat with, and her kitchen and dining space, as well as the surrounding neighborhood, are all really lovely.
