Peles Castle

Manastirea Sinaia

Explore the Orthodox Monastery of Sinaia built by the Prince Cantacuzino, in the 19th century with a Byzantine design, and admire the exhibition of valuable objects that belonged to the Cantacuzino family, as well as the first Romanian translation of the Bible from the 17th century.

Bran

Scenic drive to Bran and visit of the Bran Castle, built in the 14th century by the Saxons, and worldwide known for the legend about Dracula.Besides the correlation with Dracula, The Bran Castle was one of the residences of the Romanian Royal family. Return to Brasov, enjoy leisure time and explore the lovely Christmas Market from the Council Square. Traditional dinner at a local restaurant from the city center.

Bran Castle (Dracula's Castle)

The 14th century imposing Bran Castle, is one of the main landmarks of Transylvania, being a popular destination for the people that are interested in its history, as well as for the enthusiats in legends. Famous for its association with the legend of Dracula, the Castle hosts nowadays the museum of furniture dedicated to the Romanian Royal Family, especially to Queen Marie, the one that collected the object, and to whom the people of Brasov gifted the Castle.

Black Church (Biserica Neagra)

With a history of almost 600 years, The Black Church is the City symbol of Brasov. Modeled after the famous Saint Sebaldus Church from Nurnberg, the church took almost 100 years to be designed and built in order for each detail of the Gothic architecture to be included and perfectly made until the last detail. The location was chosen in the valley surrounded by the thick forest, since it is known that a Catholic nunnery existed in the spot of the actual church before the arrival of the Teutonic knights in the area. In 1689, the overwhelming fire destroyed several parts of the town, and highly damaged the church, the roof being caught in the fire and fell over the floor, leaving a heavy cloud of ash. It is said that the smoke and the flames turned the colour of the walls so black that the name of the church became The Black Church.

Transylvania

The citadel was built in the 12th century by Saxon colonists, and is the historical center of Sighisoara City, having the most popular attractions from the area, , The Covered Stairway, The Clock Tower, Vlad Dracul House, and The Tinsmiths’ Tower. The citadel maintained its original structure almost unchanged, and it is part of UNESCO heritage since the year 1999.

Church on the Hill

The Church on the Hill was built in 1488, with a distinct architecture, enchanting with the simplicity of the exterior unlike the late Gothic monuments from Western Europe. The Church is Sighisoara's most important religious monument when it comes to architecture, being the third largest church from Transylvania. Positioned at a high altitude of 429m, the church is visible from long distances.

Casa Vlad Dracul

Located near the Clock Tower and The Citadel of Sighisoara, it is the house in which Vlad the Impaler was born, in the period of the Turkish invasion, when the ruller of Wallachia, Vlad Dracul and his wife were hosted by the mayor of Sighisoara. It has been said that the monument is the oldest stone building from the city. Nowadays, it hosts a museum and a medieval-style restaurant.

Sibiu
