Award winning guided sea kayaking tour in Freycinet National Park. This fully catered experience is perfect for beginners or families. A unique way to experience pink granite mountains and white sandy beaches, and crystal clear waters. Our stable double kayaks mean you get up close and personal with this spectacular coastal environment and the local wildlife. Our passionate team share stories of local history and little know facts. We stop half way through for a cup of freshly brewed tea or coffee on a secluded beach. The perfect way to experience Freycinet.

Coles Bay
This tour meets at the Coles Bay Boat Ramp. We provide stable double sea kayaks and all paddling gear including warm jackets and safety gear, dry bags for cameras etc. Our expert guides demonstrate how to use our equipment at the beginning of your tour and ensure all our guests are comfortable in our kayaks. Our expert guides provide guests with information on local history and wildlife. We offer refreshments on our stop half way through the tour. We paddle into Freycinet National Park. Our start and finish location at the Coles Bay Boat Ramp includes free parking and public toilets.

5.00The weather was ideal, the instructors/accompanies were experienced and very friendly. Coles Bay offers a magnificent landscape and I recommend this tour to everyone. Oh yes, tea and biscuits on the beach were well appreciated...

5.00Corey & Ruby took us on a fantastic, relaxed paddle and we really enjoyed the scenery and their information about the area and wider Tassie. It’s also a great activity to get familiar with the little bays and beaches for swimming & snorkeling.

5.00The Freycinet Paddle is an absolute must during your stay in the area. The guides are helpful, knowledgeable, and fun to be with. The views from the water are fantastic. One of my favorite experiences during my trip to Tasmania.

5.00Excellent. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area. Conditions were a bit windy so decision to go left with us. And didn’t regret it from the moment we started. Guides were great - knowledgeable, friendly and engaged. Group was great - all seemed to enjoy it and the peacefulness of the waters at sunset sensational

5.00This was our second trip with Freycinet Adventures and again the tour and organisation did not disappoint. Paul was a great guide and provided easy instructions for new paddlers before we set off. Experiencing Coles Bay in a kayak is a perfect way to soak up the beauty of this amazing location.

4.00Great paddle in slightly windy conditions. So pleased it wasn’t cancelled as the wind did drop a bit and anyway, we were guided through less windy spots. Tour guide Maca was very experienced and friendly, and she had great knowledge of the area.

5.00My wife and I did the Breakfast Paddle. It was a truly magical experience. Neither of us had ever kayaked before but the tour leader Mia made us very comfortable and explained everything. We never felt unsafe or worried. The paddle itself was serene with beautiful views of the mountains and birds and wildlife. We stopped at Honeymoon Bay for a lovely breakfast (pastries, fruit, chia pudding, tea and coffee) sitting on the rocks. It was one of the highlights of our Tasmanian trip. Well worth doing.
Last Minute Cancellation

1.00Our sunset paddle was cancelled at the last minute. Apparently this was due to wind, however when we went down to the beach that evening for a walk it there was no wind and it was flat calm. We think they cancelled because it was Valentine's Day and the guide wanted to be somewhere else. It was disappointing as we had arranged our entire day around the trip and by the time we found out it was too late to do anything else.
