If there's an Oscars equivalent for tour guides, Emma deserves a statue! She managed to have us in stitches while simultaneously packing in loads of information that perfectly oriented us to Dublin on the first day of our trip from the United States. The Little Museum of Dublin isn't just wildly fun and informative – it's a really cool example of how history can be captured and interpreted in non-traditional spaces for modern, on-the-go audiences. Don't miss it!

Free admission with hop on, hop off green bus. SAUL was a terrific tour guide; entertaining and informative. He did a quick Irish dance at the end.allow 90 minutes to explore all the rooms.

Our tour guide Seán immersed us in the history of Ireland and Dublin, weaving important events, people, and cultural context together with objects on display in the museum. The experience was incredibly informative and engaging, and I highly recommend doing this to start your trip to Dublin with some knowledge of the city you’re visiting. The museum itself is filled with objects donated by the people of Dublin - if you are interested in history, I suggest allotting extra time to explore the museum. The museum’s size is true to its name, but its collection is not - there’s a lot to see and read about. This museum is a treasure - one of the best ones I’ve experienced in my travels.

The experience was great, we had a lot of fun. I thought it's going to be another normal museum like tour but it was way more exciting than that!! The tour goes on for 29 minutes, covering a lot of history in a very fun, comedic and extraordinary way. The admission fee was totally justified, you can stay and look at the museum yourself after the tour. The tour was given with around 30 people but that was no problem at all. The staff was super friendly, helpful and fun, especially loved the magnificent mustaches of the two people working at the gift shop / entrance and the french staff member that took initiative in talking to us. If you're here and want to get to know a little bit more about dublin in a quick and funny way, you're at the right place!

We have been to Dublin many times and finally visited this museum - and are so glad we did! George, our guide, was a total pro: charming, funny, and knowledgeable- a great singing voice too! The collection is eclectic and also quite moving at times. It’s a great introduction to the city, but even if you already know a lot about the history of Dublin, you’ll definitely learn quite a bit. The collection spans everything from old advertisements, letters, and an incredible dollhouse to U2 paraphernalia and taxidermy. It’s well curated but also feels fresh and spontaneous. A great experience!
