Cooking with Sophors feels like joining her family for the day. You shop at the local market, pick herbs from the garden, and prepare an authentic Khmer meal. The experience ends with countryside hospitality and a night in our peaceful guesthouse surrounded by greenery, only 15 minutes from Phnom Penh.

Arrive at Meet The Province before 3:00 PM and settle into your countryside guesthouse. Take a dip in the jacuzzi or simply cool down before the fun begins. At 4:00 PM, join Sophors at the bustling local market, then head to her garden to snip herbs and veggies. Wander through the village, then discover the three traditional dishes you’ll learn to cook. Roll up your sleeves, get hands-on in the kitchen, and finally sit down together to enjoy your creations. End the night with a slow countryside evening.

5.00Sophors treats guests like family. The cooking class was informative as it introduced fundamentals of the Khmer cooking. I would recommend to other travelers looking to experience the rural lifestyle of Cambodia. The living accommodations were wonderful.

5.00What a great idea. We went over the New Year period and I'm so glad we did. Beautiful home well kept and even a jacuzzi. Great hostess that made us feel like we were part of the family. Highly recommend
It feels like staying at a relative's house in the countryside.

5.00This facility is located across the Mekong River by a ferry that is used almost exclusively by locals. There is a course that only offers a Khmer cooking experience, but you can also stay overnight. I highly recommend staying overnight. The owner and his family looked after me, and I had a magical time that felt like I was staying at a relative's house in the countryside. Also, if you apply through TripAdvisor, please install WhatsApp in advance. Even if you click on the ticket link, the address of the facility does not appear, so even if you give directions to the driver, he will not know the way. It is best to have the owner give the driver directions via WhatsApp.

5.00Tourists or Expats, this place is a must-do! A few minutes away from Phnom Penh, this beautiful place is surrounded by nature and love. Discover the countryside and traditional cooking with the tours that Sophors is organizing. Best way to reconnect with yourself and get closer to Khmer traditions.
