Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center
Sheikh Zyed Grand Mosque. The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is a prominent religious landmark located in Abu Dhabi, the capital city of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Construction of the mosque began in 1996 and was completed in 2007. It was designed by Syrian architect Yousef Abdelky and features a fusion of Islamic architectural styles from different regions, including Persian, Mughal, and Moorish. The mosque's design aims to showcase the cultural diversity of the Islamic world and promote dialogue and understanding between different cultures and religions. The mosque's exterior is made of white marble and features intricate floral designs and geometric patterns. It has 82 domes, more than 1,000 columns, and is adorned with various precious materials, such as gold, semi-precious stones, and crystals. The main prayer hall can accommodate up to 40,000 worshippers, and there are additional spaces for prayer throughout the mosque.

5.00I enjoyed the ride to the desert tours. The driver Khalil was both friendly and knowledgeable and will recommend him to other Bahamians. I may have missed the dune tours but the other parts was very entertaining. Upon my return hope to get the experience of the desert ride.

5.00I had an awesome trip to Abu Dhabi. The guide Mr. Khalil was very friendly and cooperative. We enjoyed our trip and visited places. It was my first trip to Abu Dhabi, thanks to Mr. Khalil, he showed us places and gave us information about things that we did not know about Abu Dhabi.

A day at the Grand Mosque

5.00It was a very hot afternoon visiting the Abu Dhabi Grand Mosque. Over 40°C !!! Our group of 7 was led by Khalil. He was very knowledgeable of the country and the culture. We had a wonderful time at the magnificent Grand Mosque filled with wonderful memories. Khalil brought us after the mosque for beautiful sunset photos. He also introduced us to the local food. Very delicious.
It was so amazing, the dressing to the food. Everything was great.
