HIGHLIGHTS THIS WEEK: GIminid Meteor Shower at its peak! The Milky Way, Orion, Sirius, and many more. Visibility will at its highest with no moon in the hours of the tour! This engaging and entertaining tour is threefold: (1) Greek and local indigenous constellation star stories (2) Phenomenal "Big Picture" astronomical concepts of the cosmos that concentrate on what you can see with your own eyes (no telescopes) and your perspective from earth as we travel through our solar system and galaxy (3) connections to my day time tour...The Experiential And Scientific Vortex Tour. The stars tell some of its amazing history :) Please come join us under the cool night sky and prepare to "meet the Stars" goaling to increase your magic with them :) Please dress warmly. I will provide blankets and hand warmers :) We stay at one location and there are chairs to sit in. Please refrain from bringing pets and alcohol. Thank you so much!

Credentials: I've been doing night sky tours for over six years. I added it to this site on Viator June of 2022. I have been a night sky enthusiast all my life and have been on many star tours. I have thought extensively about space and the cosmos and have asked many questions. The astronomy concepts I present are my favorites of what I call "Big Picture Astronomy" as we travel amongst our solar system and galaxy on "Spaceship Earth". :) I think you will be amazed! The story telling is greatly enhanced I'd say by my love for telling them :) I'm also a musician, actor, dancer, practice mma, climb, swim, run, play basketball, and do many other physical activities that I'd say very much help my liveliness in it all :) I fell in love with Sedona in 1996 passing through and decided to stay. I started professional tour guiding in 2005 and have conducted thousands of tours of different kinds. I'm a well-known guide and guide trainer in Sedona, especially at Safari Tours :)

5.00Chad was amazing! He told us all about the background of the constellations, along with how to identify the Milky Way galaxy in the night sky. He made the experience so personable by learning everyone’s names. We booked in advance, not knowing whether the weather would cooperate - we took a chance and went on Christmas Night, which was predicted to be the cloudiest day of the week. The heavens opened for us that night and we actually had clear skies for our night tour, it was incredible! Chad also had blankets and hand warmers for everyone. We didn’t feel the cold at all - just a cozy scene with the night sky around us an incredible stories! Thank you Chad for making our Christmas special! ☺️

5.00My son and I absolutely loved this experience! I would definitely recommend it to star enthusiasts and would do it again! Chad is entertaining and has a wonderful way of sharing the big picture concepts of astronomy along with details you can take home with you! We did it in early December and were thrilled with the comfort blankets and warmers provided to make our night adventure time comfy cozy! We talked about if for days afterwards… and the laser pointer Chad used to show us around the sky was incredible!!! All around wonderful experience!

5.00This tour was a highlight of my trip to Sedona. There were 2 other solo travelers so don’t let going solo be a prohibiter. Chad, our tour guide was funny, knowledgeable, and very engaging. 5.00Chad was extremely personable and knowledgeable about the stars and other “big picture” astronomy! We were completely engaged the entire time listening to all the stories and learning how to star gaze. He goes above and beyond expectations to make the tour interactive and really makes an effort to connect with the group. It’s a fun and also beautiful experience! Also you cannot pass up the opportunity to meet Toots and Thead!

5.00We had a very enjoyable and educational experience. Chad was great at weaving mythology and astronomy together in a funny and entertaining way. We were very comfortable in the chairs and big, warm comfy blankets he provided. He explained our Milky Way galaxy, and we actually saw it and many constellations. We were very lucky that it was a new dark moon night, with clear skies and a meteor shower. Thanks Chad!

5.00I had an amazing time Chad Graf was our tour guide. And he told us about the planets. We could see what stars meant. Overall, if very beautiful experience, I felt like I was in a Dome of stars and just a set up. They had was so cute and cozy. Thank you very much for so much blankets. 20 out of 10. Highly would recommend. Happy birthday!!🌷💗
