Here you will be free to explore hearing all the interesting details and the reasons behind such an unusual practice with your audio guide. Open your eyes to the city’s hidden side – and you’ll never see Rome the same way again.

A cool activity for a very hot day

We started out at a museum to learn the story of decorative bone displays. Then took an air conditioned bus outside the city walls to the necropolis and went down into the actual catacombs. Our guide Maria told some great stories about the catacombs and other sites along the way. The tour ended at the Basilica of St. Martin where we went down into the crypt.

The guided tour was very interesting, we had a lot of fun at every stop. Our tour guide, Semih, kept everyone engaged and made time (almost 4 hours!) to fly very quickly. The catacombs and the crypt with bones are must visit!

Lots of steps sensible shoe's needed. Enjoyed the whole day only dissapointing bit was catacombs I felt it was a little rushed and didn't really see anything but the history was amazing. The crypts were great and the house under the church wow ive passed this church many times it looks nothing until you arrive inside
