• Great day of fly fishing on sea.

  As a group of four experienced fly fisherman we booked a full day with Ryan on his boat. In groups of two we alternatingly fished from his boat or fished for sea trout from the shore of one of the islands. With his high end fish finder equipment Ryan got us quickly to the pollack, coalfish and cod. We had a lovely “catch of the day” lunch on one of the islands. Ryan is an experienced fisherman who knows the area. He kindly gave us tips on where to go for sea trout and the local marmored trout. Highly recommended.

  An absolutely fantastic fishing trip! Everything was perfectly organized from the first contact until the end of the trip. The exchange when booking was super friendly and straightforward. Being in port with the Mein Schiff, we wanted to have a special fishing day – and that’s exactly what Ryan made possible. Pick up directly at the port, top equipment, professional support and lots of fun fishing. It was a real highlight of our trip and an unforgettable experience.   An excellent 4 hour tour with Ryan who is an excellent host on his great boat. Went with my 2 kids and father. We toured around and caught a lot of pollock. Caught some mackerel and other smaller fish. We released most of them but enjoyed 3 on the barbecue that evening. We had a break on a small island and Ryan gave us some hot drinks and snacks which were good. Ryan was a jovial, knowledgeable and generous man who had extensive experience. I would book again without any hesitation. The kids immediately wanted to come on another trip!

  My husband and teenaged son had a blast and have not stopped talking about this fishing trip. Ryan was a wonderful guide, very easy to work with on planning the trip, it was truly a pleasure. If we are ever back, we will definitely book again!

  We enthusiastically recommend Ryan! He really came through for us on a last minute request to see the beautiful islands and nature around Kristiansand. Even with some wind and waves, we felt very safe out there on the harbor. And Ryan clearly has safety in mind from the moment you climb into his comfortable boat. Ryan's just good company to boot! Also, prompt and clear communication beforehand. And the island waffle picnic near the end of our tour was a great, not to mention tasty, touch. A heartfelt THANK YOU, Ryan, from both of us!

  We had a wonderful week in Norway last week. We went out to sea with Ryan on two days and fished for cod and pollack. We had a lot of fun, Ryan sailed all the good fishing spots with his boat and gave us a decent catch. Ryan and his boat with an echo sounder are just a dream. Ryan is super professional, has all the tricks in store to catch fish, just wonderful. It gives you all the possibilities to catch every fish, whatever the weather. At noon we had a nice break with home-brewed coffee and home-caught smoked fish. We can only recommend everyone to take a fishing trip with Ryan. It's going to be a beautiful day.
