This is a Tamborine Mountain tour like no other. Experience Tamborine through the eyes of a local with a guided walk through the rainforest, taste locally grown produce at lunch and try the region's best coffees and artisan spirits. Meet passionate local producers, buy handmade art and crafts then take in the waterfalls and lookouts of the Gold Coast's most famous mountain top village. Whilst on the tour our guide will tell the stories of the local people, history of the region, show you their favourite spots and share their knowledge on the rainforest’s unique flora and fauna.

Please note there is no storage in the bus or tour office for prams or large bags. Kindly leave them in your car or hotel room.
Any person under the age of 16yrs must be accompanied by an adult 18+.
Southern Cross Tours may alter or cancel any section of the itinerary which may result from road closures, weather, suppliers or any other condition of an operational nature.
Alternate vehicles may be used in the event that a Southern Cross vehicle is unavailable.
Tour duration is approximate and is based on tour time starting from and returning to Aquaduck booking office, Surfers Paradise.

5.00Fab day was had by all, our guide Andy was so knowledgeable and friendly. There was just 10 of us on the tour so it was great to meet new people everyone was so friendly. We visited the coffee plantation, a vineyard where we tasted some very nice wines can recommend the revolution red wine it was my favourite. We then had a tasty lunch before visiting a rain forest, and finished off at a spirit tasting distillery. Would definitely recommend this tour company the experience felt very personal and Andy went out of his way to ensure we all enjoyed.

Our guide, Bill, was absolutely incredible. He’s not only knowledgeable but truly passionate about the region. From local history to rainforest ecology, he brought every stop to life with stories and insights that made the experience unforgettable. The tour was well-paced with delicious tastings, scenic views, and charming local spots. As someone who recommends these tours professionally, it feels amazing to know that our clients are in such good hands. I only wish I had more time — I’d do every tour they offer! 4.00Excellent tour with a great tour guide. Lots of different and interesting stops on the tour. I was only disappointed with the wine tasting. I had a hard time hearing the girl presenting even with my hearing aids on. I would have liked the wine list in advance so I could make notes. When I asked for one I was told I would get one at the end. This was not helpful to remember what wines I had tasted. I also did not like that the same glass was used to taste all the wines. This caused the flavors to be cross contaminated.

5.00The tour was excellent with our very knowledgeable guide Daniel. He took the time to talk to us and tailored the tour to our specific interests. His local knowledge meant he stopped at lookout spots others don’t know and we got some fantastic photos. We were particularly lucky to be one of two couples on the tour so it felt very intimate and happily we all got along. The coffee plantation is very interesting, the winery and lunch excellent and the two distilleries we visited were great.

5.00Enjoyed a good variety of activities with our great driver/guide Bill. The easy trek in the forest to visit Curtis Falls was made all the more interesting because of Bill’s extensive knowledge of the flora and fauna.

5.00I enjoyed the whole lot, but I do love waterfalls and really liked the waterfall. The driver was on time for pick up and was a very nice man. He took us to a beautiful lookout as well and you could see Brisbane in the far distance and from a certain angle you could also see the top of the Q1 building .
