Wow - what an eye-opening tour! We expected to be awed by the sights but were equally moved by the stories from our guide, Moon. We got a full history lesson brought to life by her real-life stories (some brought tears to my eyes). Understanding the background and struggles of the people of Korea is invaluable. Lina was absolutely fantastic! She was super friendly from the start and made everyone feel welcome and comfortable. What really stood out was the depth of her historical knowledge, she didn’t just share facts, she gave rich background and context that made everything come alive. You can tell she’s passionate about what she does, and it truly enhanced the entire experience. I learned so much while also having a great time. I have always been fascinated with North Korea. This tour was the closest I felt I could get to appreciate the history of these (2) countries. Knowing I was in a tunnel that North Korean soldiers were decades ago was surreal. Laying eyes on North Korean soil was also surreal. What most of the world takes for granted, Moon really drove some points home and made this trip even better. For the world, it seems like history, for the people of both North and South Korea, its life.

Our DMZ tour with Moon was incredible. You could immediately tell how passionate she is about what she does. It didn’t feel like just a job for her! She explained everything clearly and added personal insights that made the tour feel human and real. I would absolutely recommend doing the DMZ tour with her. You will not regret it!
