  We booked this on short notice and it was such an amazing experience! The crew picked us up on the beach 6 minutes from our house and took us to the catamaran. We then settled in for an hour peaceful ride to a private island with a gorgeous beach. Once anchored, we were offered snorkeling gear, a floating mat, and loads of pool noodles. Some of us just floated near the boat, others were taken to the beach on the shuttle boat, and others swam/snorkeled to see beautiful fish. The crew was beyond attentive and fun. It was open bar so you were offered drinks throughout the time, even bringing the folks on the beach pina coladas. When that was all done, we had the most delicious lunch set up for us along with the freshest homemade salsa I have ever had. And I am a salsa snob! The lunch consisted of delicious chicken, cooked vegetables, rice and beans and homemade cabbage salad. They also offered us fruit and snacks throughout our trip. We then started our way back and saw mating turtles. We were told that sometimes you saw dolphins and whales. I cannot say enough about this experience. The views were spectacular and the crew was top notch. They even had a fishing pole set up and my friend was able to reel in a tuna….it was a 4 hour tour which was plenty. We got back to the beach and were able to enjoy the rest of the day. If this sis something you are interested in doing, book with these folks…..

  

  

  

  

  

  

• The best decision of our trip.

  I was suspicious. My wife was approached on the beach by a very nice man named Diego. He had several pages of excursions in a laminated book and my wife inquired about a morning cruise. We were worried about the weather later in the week and Diego assured us it was a great choice. We payed a $100 deposit and were scheduled to be in Tamarindo the next day @7:30 am. This was the BEST decision we made in our time in Tamarindo. We had the large boat with just our group of 14 student photographers/college students. We enjoyed a nice taxi to the boat and a 45 minute cruise to crystal clear waters where we snorkled, paddle boarded, swam, took in the sun and had just the best time. A delicious chicken lunch was provided and our captain and chef were so helpful and nice. Find Diego. Book this excursion. +506 8878 5762. This is Diego’s direct number. • Beautiful morning sail

  An outstanding morning sail. Staff were excellent. Dolphins followed us out and I caught a large tuna. The beach was beautiful and the lunch was excellent. On the way back we saw two turtles mating at sea. The trip could not have been better.
