1.00Had been looking forward to this. Got an email the night before basically saying that the tour was overbooked on Sunday 23rd November and asking if we would go in the afternoon instead of morning. We replied saying no, as we had already booked something else for the afternoon. The email bounced back saying it was from a 'no reply' email address. So we missed out and we have wasted our money. Thanks for nothing.

5.00The tour was excellent. The guide shared the historical information I was hoping for but also provided us with a good sense of what the city is like today. I also liked that she pointed out other things to do along the way, like a scenic walk between neighborhoods. For a two-hour tour, it covered a lot without dragging on. The guide was great… knowledgeable, funny, and easy to listen to. She also had a cute dog with her, which was fun. It was just as good as any paid tour I’ve done.

2.00We have booked a guided tour of Luxembourg, which should take place according to the description in German. On site, however, it turned out that the entire tour was exclusively in English. Unfortunately, we could hardly understand anything. This was particularly disappointing as we have travelled from a long way and will probably never have the opportunity to visit Luxembourg again. Overall, it was a waste of time for us and a very sad experience.

5.00This tour provided a fantastic overview of Luxembourg — the history, culture, language and people. Jesus did a great job of relating the history, telling interesting stories, pointing out things of interest and recommending places to eat, drink and explore after the tour. I can’t imagine a “paid” tour would be any better, so I highly recommend choosing this one. But please tip your guide well — this is how they earn their living and (as you’ll find out) Luxembourg is not a cheap place to live!

5.00Had a great walk with Carol (and her dog Toast) getting a real resident's experience of the city and learning some of its history. As a place, Luxembourg is in an odd middle ground between quiet and important, and this tour helped give a good understanding of what is worth seeing in the city as well as spark ideas of what else to see and do there. From what I can tell, this tour is very similar to the more expensive walking tour offered elsewhere, and I felt no regrets choosing this one. Great practical tour, good length, would recommend.

5.00Our guide was truly exceptional. She was very knowledgeable, had a Luxembourg family lineage, and had a great sense of humor. She was also open to any question we might have. I can’t imagine a better introduction to the country of Luxembourg.
