The atmosphere at Meiji Jingu was calm and refreshing, surrounded by rich greenery. The experience itself was engaging and thoughtfully structured. The student historian guide was attentive, and the small crowd size kept the tour relaxed. The two-hour length of visit felt just right, and the price was excellent for the depth provided. Best for travellers looking for an uncrowded and meaningful cultural experience.

This Meiji Shrine tour was far better than I could have imagined. A student knowledgeable about Japanese history gave excellent explanations in clear English. The student was kind and offered me lots of advice for my trip in Japan. The price was reasonable, the staff were friendly, and it was a very satisfying tour!

Noriko and Shota shared their wealth of knowledge in both Japanese and English on the history of Meiji Jingu. I felt very satisfied as they fed my curiosity with such expertise. Great chemistry and the friendliest of hosts you could ask for.

Absolutely wonderful experience. The tour guide told a lot about not only Meiji shrine, but also about the history, the surrounding area and of course emperor Meiji. Very informative and fun tour. Would 100% recommend.

Two hours passed by astonishingly fast. The grand torii gate, vast nature, pure water, Emperor Meiji, and the rare museum exhibits… The student historian guide explained everything—what kami are, what Shinto is, what a shrine is, who the Emperor is, and what Japan is as a nation. My understanding of this beautiful country deepened all at once, and I was deeply moved by the guide’s kindness and careful explanations. The small group size meant the tour was uncrowded and very comfortable throughout. It was truly a wonderful tour. It was almost unbelievably inexpensive. I would recommend it to all visitors who love and respect Japan in its entirety.
