This update offers even more amazing views of Tokyo, giving you the best experience of the modern city. Join our improved tour to see Tokyo from new heights!

At TOKYO SKYTREE®, only the Tembo Deck (350 m) will be visited. An additional admission fee is required to access the Tembo Galleria (450 m). For those interested, please pay the required charges on your own

Due to traffic restrictions or entry restrictions, etc. near the Imperial Palace, operation may be suspended or departure may not be possible from the designated departure location

The order of the tour itinerary is subject to change due to road conditions or other reasons

Depending on the season and day of the week, traffic conditions may vary, and arrival time at each location may be considerably delayed. The scheduled tour ending time may vary depending on traffic conditions

Please participate in shoes which are easy to walk in

Children up to 5 years old may join free of charge, but will not be provided with bus seats. If a seat on the bus is required for the child, please make a booking at the Child rate

The tour will have a late lunch (13:30). Menu is subject to change depending on the season

As lunch is a buffet, requests for vegetarian meals cannot be accommodated

The bus company to be used on the tour is Hato Bus Co., Ltd. As part of the initiatives for SDGs, an environment-friendly hybrid bus will be used for transportation (May be changed due to maintenance or other unavoidable circumstances)

In an effort to prevent global warming, the bus will have its engine and cooling/heating turned off while waiting

In general, groups with an odd number of members will share seats with other customers

Please keep your seatbelts fastened on board the bus

It will take about 4 hours in total for transfers between the sightseeing spots

Parental permission in writing is necessary for all tour participants under the age of eighteen. Any participant under the age of fifteen or not yet enrolled in middle school must be joined by a parent or guardian on the tour

They called this tour "Panoramic Tokyo" and I think that fits the bill. You definitely get the vistas of the city, whether from Skytree or across the bay. The visits to the religious sites let you delve a bit deeper into some of the sights of the city, and you do get a sense for crowds by the afternoon visits. Overall, this is a good way to understand the scope of Tokyo and see a variety of places, but it is a long day, and there's a decent amount of walking at each location. So keep that in mind, even though the bus is your home base for the day. Our guide was Yumiko. She was knowledgeable and happy to answer questions, but I think the nature of the tour is such that she doesn't need to talk the whole tour. Finally, the included lunch at a hotel buffet was plentiful and good, so you won't have to worry about that. Would recommend for those looking for an overview of the expanse of Tokyo.

This was a great way to go around the main attractions of Tokyo in an efficient way. We spent about 8-9 hours on this tour but it was not tiring at all. Nobu-san was absolutely amazing with her explanations and she was super knowledgeable with questions from the participants.

Makoto-san was an excellent guide. He was very knowledgeable, kind, and passionate about his work. It was a very enjoyable tour, and was our first full-day experience in Japan. I would recommend him as well as our driver (May 13) for any future tours!

Atsushi our guide did a terrific job looking after us over our entire day in Tokyo. Atsushi is knowledgeable, humorous, personable, and can carry a tune. Out Hato Bus tour was a mix of lovely experiences without being too busy. Atsushi did a great job.

We enjoyed the tour and the friendly tour guide, Makoto, explained the shrines etc very clearly and gave us plenty of time to explore them. We had a delicious buffet lunch and overall it was a great introduction to the highlights of Tokyo. Highly recommended!

Very nice tour, covered a lot of Tokyo landmarks. If you have a day in Tokyo you should do it. The Guide, Makodo San, though young, was very knowledgeable and extremely extremely polite. The included lunch was pretty good as well

It was a very interesting trip touring the highlights of Tokyo. The tour guide was very knowledgeable. Even though we had been in Japan for 2 weeks, we still learned new things about Shinto and Buddhist religions. Guide was very good with difficult Indian woman who wanted the bus driver to mind her sleeping child, was late back to the bus, argued at every stop off about something. The other passengers were fed up with her. The tour guide and bus driver handled it .
