This is the definition of a tourist trap, however you can’t fault the staff or wrestlers, who were great throughout. Parts of the show did feel a bit awkward or poorly directed though. Overall, if you’re after something genuine, visit an actual stable.

It is fun rather than serious. Total audience participation. Excellent explanations of the practice given in English. Highly entertaining.

Well organised - set format and well paced. Good briefing on the ritual and history of sumo. The wrestlers had a good sense of humour but also fought seriously. Food pretty good too.

It was such a great show! The host and the wrestlers were great. It was very organised as well. The only thing is, it wasnt all you can eat (like it says) We only got served one meal, which was delicious! I would highly recommend.

My wife and I absolutely recommend this activity. The host spoke perfect english, the geisha dance was beautiful and the two sumo wrestlers were both serious and hilarious. They also have an audience participation and photo shoot near the end which is totally worth your visit. The all you can eat food was really healthy and good.

The MC made the show great fun with loads of information. It is one of the best shows in Japan. The Sumo fighters were funny and showed us their morning routine and few strategy used in the fights. To add we had a Geisha dance and they gave all ticket holders a gift.
