Fabulous boutique wine tour

5.00We had a fabulous time. Our guide / driver, Amanda, was a credit to the company. We managed four tastings, one included a cheese board and nibbles, which was also very nice. I thoroughly recommend this tour of some fabulous boutique vineyards, very welcoming owners and hosts, and of course their fabulous range of wines to taste and purchase. If you're an ABC wine person, you may be a convert after this. Enjoy!

5.003 different winery experiences - all very good. Relaxed pace. Surprisingly at the 2nd winery all of the wines were great! Even foe those that favor reds if whites.

5.00Hawkes Bay Wine tour with Amanda was superb. 4 wineries and great tasting and great crowd! Amanda steered us around very different wineries but all unique. Absolutely recommend this tour

5.00First winery tour in NZ, and it was far better than expected. The tastings and wineries were friendly, intelligent and down-to-earth. You can go deep into wine making and terroir if you wish, or relax and enjoy the unique venues and production from this part of the world. Having done wine tours in several countries, I have to say that Amanda was the most adaptable, fun, engaging and hard working guide we've ever had (thanks for the extra effort in guiding our group to such wonderful experiences!).

5.00It was outstanding. Amanda, our tour guide, was amazing and her familiarity with the wineries resulted in our having the best reception in all the wineries. We tasted some of the best wines from New Zealand. Amanda timed the stays that we saw several wineries without being overwelmed. Well worth the cost, we would do it again. Thanks!

5.00A cracking day out from first pour to last swirl. Three wineries, each with their own personality, and Owen steering the ship with just the right mix of knowledge, humour, and impeccable timing. A great range of wines tasted with knowledgeable and interesting cellar staff. The seasonal platter lunch was excellent, not the afterthought it sometimes is on tours, and everything ran like clockwork. Transport was easy, timings were spot on, and somehow there was never any rushing, waiting, or awkward herding of people. If you want a winery tour that’s relaxed, well organised, and quietly brilliant without trying too hard, this is it. Owen clearly knows his wine… and his people. The only real risk is finishing the day convinced you should “just move closer to wine country.”

5.00From the moment we were picked up, our guide, Owen, took complete control of the day. He managed the timing perfectly, ensuring we never felt rushed but also never felt like we were lingering too long. It felt less like a standard tour and more like a curated journey led by a knowledgeable friend. Owen is an expert at picking the best spots, and we loved the variety of wineries we visited. It was really cool to get a 'behind-the-scenes' look at the winemaking process instead of just doing the usual tastings. To top it off, we had a stunning platter with local seasonal food that was 10/10. Such a great day out!

5.00Amanda was a great tour guide. We had a relaxing tour of 3 wineries in the Hawkes Bay Area, and then diverted to an ice cream shop by unanimous vote as it was a hot day, Amanda had lots of great stories about the wines, region and it was a pleasure to ride along. We really enjoyed it!
