This was a fantastic walking tour, our guide David was great - very informative of history of Valparaiso and explaining the street/wall art and the artists - we had a great few hours - highly recommended - good fun - Thank you David

Benji was a great tour guide - we really enjoyed his anecdotes and openness to go off script and answer all our questions. He has a wealth of knowledge, both historical and political, and an excellent level of English. Thanks Benji for a great time!

Alex was fantastic and I definitely recommend doing the 4pm tour (less crowds and not as hot). Alex gave us so much information, all while talking to the locals (his friends!). He was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic, we had such a nice tour. High recommend this but make sure you wear comfy clothes and shoes!!

Very well organized and very informative tour. Grex is a great guide, knowledgeable and passionate about the history and art of Valparaiso. We are really glad we took this introductory tour, we learned a lot, and were better able to explore on our own after the tour! Highly recommend.

I was part of a group that had Alex as its guide. He was excellent. He taught us much about the city, its history, its street art, and the people. He is originally from Cuba but has made Chile his home. Everyone knew him and loved to see him. I learned a lot and thoroughly enjoyed walking the streets with him. If you have an opportunity to take a city tour or if you are unsure where to go in Valparaiso, book time with Alex. You won’t be disappointed!

Grex was an amazing guide! His mastery of the history and the flavour of the city really brought it to life. The artwork, the artists and the galleries are beautiful. I couldn’t resist buying a few items from home. Ask Grex about the Magic Pictures - an inspiration. You need to take this tour with Grex the first morning or day of Valparaiso - so you can enjoy the city to its fullest and properly explore it. We felt so safe under his care and we knew we could simply enjoy the sites without worry. He even helped us understand the importance of the dogs you see throughout the city.

Alex took us on a grand circle through a labyrinth of lanes and stairways through this amazing city. So colorful and intriguing. The trip included an Ascensor ride (Funicular) ride up the steepest portions- so the stairways we traveled were all manageable. So knowledgeable and well-respected among the locals. Thanks Alex!

Our guide Alex is Mr. Valparaiso! He was extraordinary, he knows everything, he knows everyone, he even knows every dog! He was smiling the whole time he walked us through the town and showed us every special passageway, piece of art, noteworthy history, and fun things you would never find on your own. When we had a question about the street art, he had an answer. He was very patient, offered to let us stop when we had an interest (knows where the bathrooms are!), and left us with great advice to finish our day as he left us. We talked about it the rest of the day.
