  If I could give this tour 10 stars, I absolutely would. Katie was so helpful from the start. I was traveling with my grandmother who uses a walker. Katie arranged for a SUV, which was so much easier than the van, and her driver/guid, Reed, was funny and fabulous! What a great day!

  Astoria was incredibly fun. A must, go to the column, climb the steps and see the amazing view. From the Columbia River Bar to Cape Disappointment to Tillamook Head to The Lewis and Clark River and Fort Clatsop. Downtown had many options to shop, eat and explore. We strolled the riverwalk and learned the history of the town that is the oldest American settlement West of the Rocky Mountains. Visited the Maritime Museum the next day. Wow, what a great adventure and the new addition soon to be open will increase the experience. The other 2 museums; The Flavel House was very cool and the Film Museum is a kick. It’s a beautiful town. We really enjoyed and will return.

• Awesome personalized tour of Astoria

  It was really my first time visiting Astoria since I was a young child so I wanted someone to show me around. It was a typical rainy Oregon coast day, but we still had an amazing time! I got to see all of the highlights around Astoria and it helped direct my further visits in the days following. I even got some great restaurant recommendations. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone. And she will cater it to what you are interested in.

  We had one day in Astoria and are a little mobility challenged (can't walk far), this was the best! Katie was accommodating, knowledgeable, and fun! Took us anywhere and everywhere. Highly recommend over a self-guided tour, she had wonderful bits of information since she is a local. You can just sit back and really enjoy the beautiful town and gorgeous scenery.

  Great tour. Tour guide Katie was great. She catered the tour to what we wanted to see. Would highly recommend Onward Adventures if you want to see Astoria and what it has to offer. I would definitely do another tour with them.

• My Solo Tour of Astoria with Katie!

  Wow—what an incredible experience with tour guide Katie! My tour of Astoria was everything I hoped for and more. Climbing the 164 spiral steps in the Astoria Column and looking out over the Columbia River was so exciting and unforgettable! Katie made the trip even better—so friendly and full of fascinating stories about Astoria’s maritime past and its Hollywood connections. You can tell she truly loves her job. I left feeling relaxed, inspired, and already planning my next visit. My favorite moment? Spotting the house from The Goonies! I grew up loving that movie, so seeing it in person was such a nostalgic thrill. It felt like a little piece of movie magic tucked into this charming coastal town. I highly recommend this tour with Katie. Right when I got in her vehicle, she asked me what I wanted to see most—and we hit the Goonies house first! I never felt rushed, and I definitely got my money’s worth.

  Katie was terrific, in Astoria, in the dead of winter, on a cold, windy, rainy day in the PNW Katie made this adventure fun, informative, and we saw so much, experienced more than I would have expected, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves in her care. There really is so much to see here, (history, touristy locales, shopping, food..) and we are already planning another trip (in warmer weather).

  Katie was absolutely amazing! She showed me everything she could possibly show me. I love that she knew town history and how to find good food spots. She was very enthusiastic and had the best personality. I will definitely go back and visit Astoria.

  Well where can I start I did the full tour of astoria with our guide bill from onward adventures as I was a solo traveller and a big goonies fan bill catered for everything for me the mass knowledge of everywhere we went which was all over I didn't think we could of fitted everything in but with bills expertise we did I enjoy every single second of that day and didn't want it to end it's got be one of the best tours I've ever been on I highly recommend any of these tours with these guys I will be going back in the future to astoria and million percent I will be doing another tour no question!! Ive added a photo of me and bill underneath our tour guide p.s I'm the one with the white beard 🤣
