We will tour and explore Saranda, a city with more than 2000 years of history (also known as Onhezmi).
Saranda is on the southern coast of Albania, rich in rare values of Albanian and European cultural and archaeological heritage.
We will explore The Incoming Gate of Onhezmi (a monument); an Archaeological Museum; The Museum of Heritage; an Art Gallery; The Orthodox Church; The Castle of Lekuresi and The V-VI Synagogue Complex (within the Castle).

Lekuresi Castle
On this tour we will drive up to (and explore) The Fortress of Lekuresi, believed to have been built in 1537, when Sultan Sulejmani attacked Corfu. The castle is located within the ruins of Lekuresi village, on the top of the hill, above the city of Saranda. It really is a strategic position where you can see the entire bay of Saranda, the road that leads to Butrint and the islands of Ksamil. In addition, you can also see the Island of Corfu. We will also visit the V-VI Synagogue Complex, located within the castle on its eastern side - that in the final phase, the Jewish cult complex was transformed into a Christian cult building: the Paleochristian Basilica.

5.00Fantastic tour of Saranda. My guide was a wonderful young lady who excelled by showing lots of knowledge about Saranda and Albanian history. I also leaened a lot about living in Saranda today. The tour is organized by a small family business. I really enjoyed the tour!

4.00Living the sea 100% staying on the seafront is possible in Saranda, having a very large and equipped public beach with a wonderful sea and many bars and restaurants on hand. Wide choice of motor boat trips to nearby beautiful Ksamil or other beaches and notable points of interest along the southern Albanian coast. Lacking the nightlife seen the flourishing of countless commercial premises with a very young target, even teen!

5.00An excellent and informative walking tour of Sarande with guide Erald, who translated the curators talks at the museums to ensure we understood the history of the city and the country of Albania too. Culminated in a car ride to the castle which over looked the town with spectacular views across the plains and the bay. Half a day we’ll spent!

5.00Saranda is a destination that can not miss on the list of the Balkans and if by chance you happen to happen in these parts and I wish you so... refer to Teatours I think best agency on site.... we were picked up at the airport in Tirana..... The guide was called Gazi that we thank infinitely sincerely because he advised us to lengthen the road to saranda to look at the coast is the panorama that this nation has to offer!!!!! Goose bumps! Gazi spoke perfect Italian and especially English..... thank you so much Gazi for everything and thanks to Teatours for helping to make this trip unforgettable 🙌🙌🙌 Diamond&Paola
