  We had read great reviews about Stefano while looking for tours in Puglia online, and yesterday we found them true. He is friendly, always smiling and a great guide, with accurate information about each place. He speaks Italian and English. The tour was very interesting; we arrivedin Gallipoli just in time to watch the sunset.

  It has been a perfect excursion with Stefano ,magnificent guide, who speaks Italian and English perfectly and who makes himself understood very well with little you know of those two languages, as well as being very friendly picking us up at the door of the hotel and taking us back to it. The times of the excursion, the explanations and the directions for a well-used trip have been impeccable, as well as being very friendly and pleasant. Fully recommended.

  We had a wonderful day with Stefano touring the Puglia and Salento area. Maybe it was the time of year but we avoided the crowds and soaked in all the beauty. Stefano was very knowledgeable and described the 4 villages we visited. I would love to spend more time in this area—hopefully in the future! We had great food, too. I recommend this tour.

  Stefano was truly excellent. We were late starting due to two guests waiting in the wrong place, but at no time did the tour seem rushed and everything was covered . The expert and professionalism displayed was great and the knowledge displayed added to making this one of the most relaxed and interesting tours we have been on. I can’t recommend Stefano and this tour highly enough.

  Great information provided by Stephanie now in a passionate and well informed way. We really enjoyed the day with him. Also, fantastic restaurant recommendations in the area that we follow followed through with, and they were delicious! He is an absolute fantastic tour guide!

  What a great day! We had a fabulous guide, a comfortable vehicle, and were able to experience multiple cities that we may not have been able to visit on our own. It was great to have a knowledgeable guide to make our experience better than we could have done on our own.

  Stefano was an excellent guide and looked after us the whole day with detailed information and history. He had to adapt the schedule and did so professionally . Can’t recommend him and the tour enough. Absolutely the best

• A four cities tour that met and exceeded our expectations

  The stops were at Galatina, Otranto, Leuca, and Gallipoli. Our guide Stefano had decent comment of English and was a caring and creative guide for us over the course of our day long journey. We began our trip with the Basilica of Santa Catarina d’Allessandria in Galatina, and that is where the creativity came in. On our arrival, there was a special Mass going on for local police forces, and while Stefano tried to talk our group in, the police outside would not hear of it. So with consent of the group, we agreed to return at the end of the day (even though it meant Stefano had to extend his work day). Once we entered the church at six that evening, we saw why he was encouraging us to return. The frescoes were extraordinary. Another helping hand: Stefano knew the area well enough to guide us to a nearby ATM at one stop, since we needed cash. He knows his stuff. The tour attempts to hit the major highlights of the four cities, and provide an hour for lunch at midday. If you are interested in getting a high level overview and a “sampler” this will work quite well for you. However, it’s on a tight schedule, so you may be frustrated with the necessity of 15 to 30 minute time limits at some sites if you wish to linger. All in all, realistically, it covered a lot of ground and we are always happy to turn driving over to a skilled hand in Italy.
