Discover and explore the mountains of the sierra where we will find the spectacular Magical Copalitilla waterfalls, at approximately 1:30 hours we will arrive at a fascinating place within the jungle where we will find beautiful pools of crystalline waters and waterfalls ideal for swimming, taking photos and contemplate nature.

During the tour there will be a stop to enjoy a delicious cup of coffee, we will have a brief explanation on the subject of coffee and we will learn about the healing properties of medicinal plants and products made with medicinal plants by the community.

We will have time to eat the delicious typical regional food of mole with chicken accompanied by pot beans and tortillas made by hand by community cooks (Food not included in the tour)

Cascadas Magicas de Copalitilla

During the visit to Huatulco a recommended activity is the tour of the Magical waterfalls of Copalitilla, in this activity we go aboard an air-conditioned vehicle to the mountains at approximately 1:30 hours to reach the community and take a walk inside from the jungle until we reach the spectacular waterfalls and pools of crystal clear waters we will have time to enjoy the place, swim, take photos and contemplate nature.

You should be fairly physically fit and mobile. You need good balance as well as the rushing water can be challenging. Loved it though

Lamby tours was excellent - would highly recommend. Our guide went above and beyond with the tour. The Cascadas Magicas falls were very special to see. We found out later that there are other falls that you can tour as well - might be cool to try multiple in same day... for the hassle of the drive up the mountain.

Edgar was super communicative, friendly, and helpful. He is fully bilingual, too. Our trip included a visit to see a parrot and honey bear, a collective tienda where we bought local coffee and chocolate, a nice lunch, and, of course, the amazing waterfalls! So nice to sit back and not worry about anything. The jungle and waterfalls were gorgeous and so refreshing after the heat of Huatulco's beaches. (Bring water shoes, a waterproof camera holder, and a change of clothes as it is too shady for the sun to dry your suit.)

Convenient pickup, knowledgeable guide. Jacob was super friendly, attentive to our needs (made sure these older ladies were safe) and answered all our questions! He even made a second stop at the mezcal store on the way back down so we could add to our collection! The waterfalls were amazing! The only down side to the day was the poor condition of the restrooms at the parking area.

The falls are amazing our tour guide Edgar with Lamby tours was incredible, came in the water with us,helped navigate the falls, speaks very good English, knowledgeable about everything in the area, excellent driver, even though the road was challenging. Took pictures & videos for us!! Our lunch was excellent!! The tour of the mescal /coffee and products was fun, I wish I had brought more money. Edgar was willing to pay for us for life jackets & even products at the store!! People should know to bring extra money. Make sure to bring water shoes, a must!! People should know it’s a bit of a challenge !! All in all it was excellent, but our guide Edgar Made it the best experience!!
Absolutely worth going to the falls.

Gustavo was great! The falls were wonderful. We didn’t care for the stop, part way up to the falls, where they give you a talk on coffee, cocoa, honey and mescal. It is a tourist trap where there is all sorts of overpriced stuff you can buy. The home cooked lunch towards the end of the trip was really good. The drive is long and a bit bumpy in places but it was worth it. Would highly recommend Lamby Tours.

This was one of the best tours I have done. Everything was arranged and handled well, it went smoothly. Hiking and swimming in the falls was amazing. It is such a beautiful area. Our guide Giovanni was very personable, joyous, and kept us safe the whole time.
