Discover and explore the mountains of the sierra where we will find the spectacular Magical Copalitilla waterfalls, at approximately 1:30 hours we will arrive at a fascinating place within the jungle where we will find beautiful pools of crystalline waters and waterfalls ideal for swimming, taking photos and contemplate nature.
During the tour there will be a stop to enjoy a delicious cup of coffee, we will have a brief explanation on the subject of coffee and we will learn about the healing properties of medicinal plants and products made with medicinal plants by the community.
We will have time to eat the delicious typical regional food of mole with chicken accompanied by pot beans and tortillas made by hand by community cooks (Food not included in the tour)

Cascadas Magicas de Copalitilla
During the visit to Huatulco a recommended activity is the tour of the Magical waterfalls of Copalitilla, in this activity we go aboard an air-conditioned vehicle to the mountains at approximately 1:30 hours to reach the community and take a walk inside from the jungle until we reach the spectacular waterfalls and pools of crystal clear waters we will have time to enjoy the place, swim, take photos and contemplate nature.

After the visit to the magical waterfalls we will enjoy a delicious traditional meal such as mole with chicken and handmade tortillas.

5.00Great experience! If you get Edgar as your guide you are in good hands. At the market, consider the heat of your buy chocolates ! We learned the hard way! When they say bring water shoes, trust them! Very difficult without. You don’t need a life jacket either. Cellphone cover yes! The road is long and curvy, consider gravol.

5.00Edgar was our tour guide. But thew whole process of booking through Tripadvisor was our first and it went so smoothly. Confirmation on the app. Notification of pick up on the morning of and then a WhatsApp message ahead of time so when I needed to ask a question Yeniser quickly answered. Edgar was personable and interesting. He also helped us a lot with our 8yo and 10yo kids. We wouldn’t have had such a good experience without him , his driving, care and knowledge. Thank you! Amazing memories and what fun jumping off waterfalls!

5.00Copalitilla Magical Waterfalls was a fantastic experience. My husband and I rented a car and drove to the falls. The entrance was 100 pesos per person. The roads getting there were sandy, and there were lots of Topes to drive over. You can get an English-speaking driver if you prefer. I would highly recommend this area. Wear bug spray when you go anywhere in the jungle. Bring water shoes for climbing on the rocks. We also drove up to the Coffee Plantations. That was very interesting. All the people we encountered were friendly.

5.00Absolutely stunning the waterfalls are so beautiful! We had lots of time to enjoy being there and to swim and enjoy ourselves. The drive up there was really pretty as well. Edgar was an amazing tour guide he was informative, helpful and caring, making sure we were all safe and got up the parts that were a little tricky to navigate and he is fluent in English which was really nice as well! He was more than happy to take some pictures of me since I went alone and another lady and her mom didn’t bring their phone he even asked if it was ok to use mine to take some pictures of them as well which I thought was pretty awesome of him! I was glad they got some good pictures for their memories as well Definitely recommend this trip

5.00We had an amazing (private) tour and the pictures do not do it justice. We recommend Simmy Escapes and Tours with Roberto (Simmy). Simmy is fluent in English and has a great knowledge of the area, ecology and history. Simmy has a nice new vehicle that can accommodate 5 persons and has access to larger vehicles if required. 5.00The waterfall was no disappointment truly awesome, the water so pretty blue, I did the jump and so glad I did. Everything so lush and inviting. Our tour guide made the experience so much fun. Worth the trip. Our guide was fun as well. It is a must see. It was on my bucket list.

5.00My husband and I were on this tour December 10, 2025. We were picked up on time by our tour guide. Unfortunately, I cannot recall his name (possibly a name that sounds like Tim?). Lamby Tours, please convey my apologies to our tour guide for not remembering his name. He was so helpful. I have a knee issue and he was very helpful in assisting me through a few areas. He was patient and so kind. We appreciated his educating us about the flora and fauna of the area. His English is extremely good and we appreciated his good humour. He was always concerned about our wellbeing. We had complete confidence in his driving. We have no hesitation in recommending this tour.

5.00You should be fairly physically fit and mobile. You need good balance as well as the rushing water can be challenging. Loved it though
