Walk to the beginning of the trail where you can visit the 7 lagoons. Surprise yourself with the crystal clear waters of the lagoons and ask yourself how such a thing is possible in the middle of nowhere. Since March 3, 2025, you can swim in one of the lagoons.

Cordillera de la Sal

As part of the route to the Baltinache lagoons, we pass through the Llano de la Paciencia where we have the Cordillera de Sal on one side and the Cordillera de Domeyko on the other. That road takes about 1 hour to go and then another hour to return.

Francis was an excellent guide. He gave us very good directions and was always attentive. I went with my partner and had a great time, amazing landscapes that ended with a table to eat and pisco. I recommend 100%

Underwhelming experience. "Lagoons" are essentially in singular, and "trail/tracking" can be one in flip flops. Enough said. Also, way too many people per square meter of water. This being said, the water itself is beneficial for the skin, similar to that in the Dead Sea. For that, it's worth still going. Also, if you have a car, there is no reason to book a tour. We got fooled into booking a tour as the road was apparently bad, but this was not the case. Regular vehicle can easily make it there. Our guide was also very arrogant, and that didn't help our case.

The tour was very good, the place is beautiful, the views of the amazing lagoons and the experience of floating in such salt water is wonderful. I really like knowing that they have restricted access to one of the lagoons to prevent people from damaging the ecosystem, that speaks highly of tourism management and preservation. The very friendly and polite guide, you can see that he knows the place very well and handles properly the concepts that he managed to transmit about the formation of salt flats, lagoons and biodiversity.

Francisco was amazing, he is incerdibly knowledgeable and gave us so much information, he also helped with recommendations during our stay. I cannot say enough great things about this memorable experience. The driver was awesome too!

Paseo was incredible, lagoon very beautiful, the Guia Felipe was definitely the best guide of all the tours we have done so far, very excited, with extensive knowledge of the place and even put funk to play in tribute to us who are cariocas 😅 The driver Clor also amazing, prepared a splendid breakfast.
