Lagunas Escondidas de Baltinache

Walk to the beginning of the trail where you can visit the 7 lagoons. Surprise yourself with the crystal clear waters of the lagoons and ask yourself how such a thing is possible in the middle of nowhere. Since March 3, 2025, you can swim in one of the lagoons.

Cordillera de la Sal

As part of the route to the Baltinache lagoons, we pass through the Llano de la Paciencia where we have the Cordillera de Sal on one side and the Cordillera de Domeyko on the other. That road takes about 1 hour to go and then another hour to return.

Rude treatment at the hidden lagoons of Baltinache.

On May 15, 2026, I visited Baltinache and received rude treatment (from a woman of approximately 50 years at the entrance and showers) despite complying with all the rules imposed by the community. I feel embarrassed as a Chilean that tourists come to my country and receive such treatment, as if they were a nuisance. I have traveled to other countries and have never been treated that way. I understand that these places are on the territory of the Atacameño community, but that does not justify treating visitors with disdain.

I loved the day, Guia Victoria and the driver Romer were very dear and patient, in addition to helping with the photos!! Everything very organized and punctual. I asked for a thousand explanations p Victoria and she was excellent ❤️✨

The whole tour was wonderful: from the pre-trip organization, through breakfast and ending with the Wonderful experience of seeing the Hidden Lagunas. The guide and the driver always attentive and attentive to everything! Wonderful experience!

Another incredible tour by Pukarumi. The guide was fantastic and was very knowledgeable of the region. Thisntoue company is five stars all the way. It was the third time in theee days and they were all excellent .

One of the best tours of the 10 I made. Highlight to guide Christian and the driver who made this experience a class in the open air, even speaking portunol (did perfectly understand) and for the preparation of the cocktail. Special compliments to the entire Pukarumi team, from pre-sales to completion of services and preparation of a cake to celebrate my son’s birthday. He found the surprise incredible!!

One of the most surreal places I've ever known! The lagoons are simply amazing, with a color and a landscape that looks like from another planet. Soraya was impeccable, super attentive, explained everything very calmly and still left the walk light and fun. Perfect experience from beginning to end.

We did the tour with guide Anita, which made the experience incredible.super human, attentive and always willing to help primarily with the consequences of altitude.the incredible tour, each place is a painting.the charm is inevitable, wonderful.

Had an excellent afternoon with the best guide Francisco I’ve come across in Chile! The lagoons are absolutely stunning and Francisco the nature lover has kindly shared a lot about the lagoons with us, as well as the nature and culture in Atacama. Learnt a lot and the whole immersive experience in the nature is just so great.
