Jameos Del Agua

Los Jameos del Agua is the first Art, Culture and Tourism Centre created by César Manrique, a natural space created inside a volcanic tunnel. Inaugurated in 1968, the artist, painter and sculptor transformed the space into a unique work that represents the maximum expression of his ideology: artistic creation in harmony with the environment and nature.

Brilliant day out exploring the island, the day was packed and fun of interesting places and experiences. I would say there is lots of walking and stairs, which some may struggle with.

I initially thought that the price was a little steep. How wrong I was, this is one of the best value for money tours you’ll find on Viator. You’ll travel around the whole island and discover the beauty of the alien Lanzarote landscape. My pick of the experiences, the green cave.

We found the guide very difficult to understand. We think it was more an issue with the microphone. The guide was very nice and the driver was really good.

You really pack a lot in, but it doesn't feel rushed and there was no waiting around at the stops, fast track for all events. Lunch was a very fresh buffet to suit most needs with water and wine for 12 euros per person. The coach trip around the national park negated the need to queue for a seat on the park coaches. Great day out. A little pricey but on balance worth the bit extra.

Long time in the coach (after last stop 1.5hrs in the bus to arrive to arrecife (capital of lanzarote) due to strange tourplanning. Lunch is a torture, average school canteen is better. "Winetasting" is less than a shotglass of one so lala wine. Tourguide friendly, but just high level Infos shared. Tour was sold as english and spanish, in spanish way more Infos shared. Timanfaya part very nice landscape, but all in all too expensive and not recommended.

Long day but worth it,bus overl volcanos was amazing but scary.driver was amazing and worth the tip I gave him.any locals living there at the time would have had to escape quickly.

The trip was perfectly organized – excellent communication with the company throughout, quick responses, and great professionalism. It was a full-day tour and truly worth it! Our guide was an extremely kind and friendly person – she explained everything clearly, took great care of the group, and created a wonderful atmosphere. We visited the island’s most important and strategic attractions. The driver was fantastic, confidently driving even close to the edge of the volcano – it gave us a real thrill, and the experience was absolutely unforgettable! All three of us were very satisfied with this trip and we highly recommend it to everyone. 🌋
