5.00We are grateful for the opportunity provided by Woody Land Artisans, which hosted an exceptional workshop focused on teaching the foundational skills of traditional carpentry to children. The experience was led by master artisans Gamini and Weerasinha, who offered valuable insights and hands-on guidance, making it a memorable holiday activity for our group of six kids. They were learnt tools, painting, cutting, colouring, etc. The Riverside Workshop is a beautiful location, with plenty of engaging activities available at Woody Land Artisans. I would also like to extend thanks to the organiser, Prasith, for facilitating this wonderful opportunity for our children on my request. Overall, it was a rewarding experience that combined learning and creativity.

5.00We had a fantastic time at Woody Land! It was a wonderful stopover on our way to Kandy. Master Artisan Gamini showed us traditional carpentry secrets, and Artisan Weerasingha was brilliant with the painting and sanding process. Our daughter Sanaya had so much fun painting coasters, and we even made our own charcuterie board to took home when we back to Paris. The team is so friendly, and the Maha Oya River views are beautiful. Highly recommended for families and DIY lovers!
