Get this Off-the-Beaten-Tracks Mountain Train Experience, now! Through Alps, canyons, viaducts & tunnels, get fresh air following our greatest 3 Valleys. Explore hidden gems & breathtaking landscapes into picturesque medieval villages (1 labeled: "one of France's most beautiful villages") & many more.

Visit its medieval jewels through unspoiled nature, ruins of castles, great panoramic points, a Monastery & a great Bronce Age Museum (option) - Short hike possible.
A shuttle bus will permit us to jump from village to village by spectacular roads through canyons. Special Italian atmosphere (recently became French and great Alpine adventure, with history of wars & glory (WW2, Napoleon).
You will love the tiny maze of medieval streets, a splendid baroque atmosphere in the monuments & how authentic is real Nice countryside.

Gare de Nice Ville
Meeting point at 7.55am in front of the main entrance of: Gare de Nice Ville ("boulangerie Paul" terrace, next the main entrance), 12 avenue Thiers, Nice (2mn walk from Tramway (line 1) stop "Gare Thiers", follow up the black modern building during 2 minutes until the big square. The guide will be waiting for you at Boulangerie Paul terrace with a blue sign "Train Experience through the Alps". Don't be late, the train doesn't wait!

5.00An excellent excursion and a true bargain for everything that was included. Samuel, our guide, was excellent. He was so personable. He easily made everyone feel comfortable and welcome. He was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the area. At the end of the day we’re exhausted-but happy. Thank you, Samuel!

5.00This day trip was fantastic, well-organized, easy to follow. It has delivered the experience with the amazing train trip via the Alps. We could also visít the beautiful villages of Saorge and La Brigue. We also had a delicious lunch giving us further energy for the rest of the day. Our guide, Samuel is a very knowledgeable expert, also payed maximum attention to all members of our group. Based on his explanation and storytelling during the whole day we could learn a lot about these beautiful places. Merci beaucoup!🙂

5.00My husband and I celebrated our 29th wedding anniversary with a train ride in the French Alps and it did not disappoint. The guide was exceptional and the other guests were lovely to talk to and share the experience with!

5.00Sofia was such a wonderful guide throughout the entire experience! Very knowledgeable not only of the area but other areas of history throughout Europe and we had wonderful conversation about the culture and history of the region. The entire experience was smooth and the train rides were gorgeous throughout. Food was exceptional as well, would thoroughly recommend this tour to anybody visiting Nice who is interested in the history of the surrounding area.

5.00Fabulous and informative train and walking tour up to small historic village. Amazing scenery through lower alps and river canyons. Lunch was outside in a nice patio area. The amount of walking was not really as much as expected, but the cobblestone streets are steep and uneven. Sophie was a great tour guide. Highly recommended.

5.00We had a wonderful time on this tour! We had a multi-generational family group of 12 and it was enjoyed by all. Our tour guide Cyril was fantastic and made it a special day for all of us. We felt like we got to see parts of France we would not have been able to otherwise. Highly recommended!

5.00Excellent excursion thanks to Samuel’s guide who accompanied us throughout the trip in a professional way: telling us the story of each of the places visited; I empathize, conversing with each of the passengers and very attentive to each one, trying to group consensus in those activities that allowed it. A pleasure to meet the sea alps with a polyglot guide and lover of your work!
