Wonderful private tour with Marius. Marius was very knowledgeable and took excellent care of us. We were originally planning to rent a car and drive, but this was so much better. We heard much more background and history, plus Marius knew how to quickly get us in and out of castles/churches. We saw and learned much more than we would have on our own. We enjoyed the hotels that were booked for us and loved all the small towns. Much easier to look out the window than drive.

We had no idea what to expect but it was brilliant. Clear communication, prompt pickup and modern vehicle. Marius was delightful and a very professional but fun guide. We came away with a great appreciation for Romanian history and passed the pop quiz at the end !! The hotels were all comfy with good breakfasts and Marius was great at tracking down craft beer in the evening! Felt like we had plenty of time at each stop for a guided tour plus free time . We agreed with Marius that Peles Castle is amazing!

We just completed a 4 day trip from Budapest to Bucharest with Paul. It was an amazing trip. Paul gave us the inside scoop on many wonderful sites along the way. Really enjoyed his personal insight and stories. Paul is an encyclopedia of knowledge and a true promoter of Romania. His stories kept us laughing so much. You "CON'T" find a better tour than this.

We travelled as a couple from Budapest to Bucharest 4 days/3 nights with our guide/driver Alberto. What can I say! This was an amazing tour through an amazing country with an amazing guide! Tour was well paced, with great accommodation, and with lots of highlights along the way. Alberto has been the best tour guide, generous with his time, knowledge of history and his personal experience of living in Romania. We are so pleased we made the choice to travel through to Bucharest this way!
