Madaba is an ancient town in Jordan, southwest of the capital Amman. It’s known for its 6th-century mosaic map of the Holy Land in the Greek Orthodox Church of St. George. The Madaba Archaeological Park preserves the mosaic-rich Church of the Virgin Mary and artifacts from the Hellenistic, Roman, Byzantine and Islamic eras. Northwest, the biblical hill of Mount Nebo overlooks the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea.

Petra, or the Rose City of Petra as it is often called, is an ancient rock-carved Nabataean city located in Jordan between the Dead Sea and Red Sea, in the country’s Ma’an governorate. Such is the historical value of the site, that in 1985 it was officially declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. There is some uncertainty as to the exact age of the Rose City of Petra although most historians believe the city was established around 312 BCE or perhaps even earlier. Interestingly, it remained hidden from the Western world until it was discovered by an explorer who had made his way to Jordan in 1812. In his diary he wrote that he had found a “Rose Red City half as old as time”, and anyone who has visited the site will surely agree.

Jerash is a city in Jordan, north of the capital Amman. Inhabited since the Bronze Age, it’s known for the ruins of the walled Greco-Roman settlement of Gerasa just outside the modern city. These include the 2nd-century Hadrian’s Arch, the Corinthian columns of the Temple of Artemis and the huge Forum’s oval colonnade. The Jerash Archaeological Museum displays artifacts excavated from the site.

Ajloun Castle, also known as Rabad Castle, is a 12th-century Muslim castle situated in northwestern Jordan. It is placed on a hilltop belonging to the Mount Ajloun district, also known as Jabal 'Auf after a Bedouin tribe which had captured the area in the 12th century

5.00Our 7-day tour in Jordan, following an incredible experience in Egypt with Look at Egypt Tours, was beyond expectations. Every detail was perfectly arranged, making it a seamless adventure filled with rich history, culture, and luxury. We started our journey at the Amman Plaza Hotel, which provided us with excellent service and comfort. The location was ideal for exploring the city, and the hospitality made us feel right at home after a day of sightseeing. The rooms were spacious and well-appointed, offering a perfect retreat after exploring Amman and the nearby historical treasures. But the highlight of our accommodations was undoubtedly the Old Village Resort in Petra. This stunning hotel transported us back in time, blending modern luxury with the charm of an ancient village. Waking up to views of Petra’s mountains was surreal, and the peaceful ambiance gave us a chance to fully immerse ourselves in the magic of this ancient city. The staff here were incredibly attentive, and every meal was a culinary delight, offering authentic Jordanian flavors. Our cultural experiences, expertly curated by Look at Egypt Tours, were equally memorable. From exploring the ancient Roman ruins of Jerash to wandering through the streets of Salt and soaking in the wonders of Petra, every day was an adventure. The night we spent camping in Wadi Rum was a standout moment. The desert landscape, with its towering sandstone cliffs and endless horizons, was awe-inspiring. The camp itself was comfortable, providing us with all the modern amenities while allowing us to experience the true serenity of the desert. Sitting by the campfire under a blanket of stars and enjoying traditional Bedouin hospitality made it a truly magical night. 5.00Our trip to Jordan was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and felt completely safe throughout our entire journey. The people of Jordan are incredibly friendly and made us feel at home. The hotels ( old village Petra , Alaa eldin camp and Kimpenski Amman) we stayed in were top-notch, offering both luxury and comfort after our days of exploring. Each day was filled with breathtaking sights, from the awe-inspiring Petra to the stunning landscapes of Wadi Rum. The ancient history and natural beauty of Jordan are simply unmatched. Adding Jordan as an extension to our Egypt trip was the best decision we made. The combination of history, culture, and adventure in Jordan perfectly complemented our experience in Egypt. We highly recommend everyone to consider this amazing destination. You won’t regret it!

5.00Look at Egypt tours- an amazing bespoke trip for Jordan Fayrouz in Look at Egypt tours helped us to plan an amazing week trip in Jordan. She was very knowledgeable and gave excellent advice. Muahmmed was our driver guide he was very helpful and has sens of humor, One of the highlights of the trip was the best visit to Petra he was able to give us a deeper understanding of Jordan culture and tradition I can't praise Look at Egypt tours too highly and would highly recommend them. They are excellent
