Discover the history of Tierra del Fuego on our combi trip across the Tierra Mayor Valley until you reach the Garibaldi Pass.
A low difficulty trekking awaits us in the upper part of the mountain with panoramic views of the whole mountain range and of Lakes Escondido and Fagnano. It lasts approximately 3 hours between return. Let's share a hot drink and a very rich alfajor.
We follow the activity if the weather conditions permit and go to the head of the hidden lake to prepare for a day of paddling on the lake. In case we can not perform this activity either by wind or rain, we go to the veil of bride waterfall in the area of the Olivia River, to perform another trekking of one hour total duration of hike, where we will walk through the forest see two waterfalls between the rocks and we can stand behind one of it and feel the force of the water. The walk is easy because it is short but with steep slope in parts

We left by combi from the city of Ushuaia. Running along RN 3 we pass through the Tierra Mayor Valley, until we reach the Garibaldi Pass area. During the 50 minute tour by vehicle we will have a pleasant talk about the history, culture and landscapes of the place we are visiting. I recommend wearing some mattes and getting comfortable
Once we get to the Passage we will brake and prepare for the Trekking. The walk takes 3 hours between round trip. It is difficult easy, because it is 4km, but with parts on the rise with mountain terrain, stones, peat, mud and adventure. The tour is very nice the views of the mountain range from the top of the mountain are spectacular, we are past the limit of vegetation, we will reach the area of twin lagoons, two mountain lagoons and continue walking to some rock terraces, overlooking the lakes, hidden and Fagnano. Upstairs we will share a hot drink and a very rich alfajor and marching food.

5.00Excellent experience! It is the second excursion we take with TAUN (the first was the trekking to Vinciguerra Glacier). We're already seeing what the third one is going to be. The guides are exceptional! The best way to get to know Ushuaia.

5.00Great day. Although it was very foggy and the lagoons were frozen, it was all beautiful. Hopefully we can come back at another station! The Oar a unique experience. Our guide Augustine, impeccable, always resolving any situation that might arise and attentive at all times. Important information: Excellent Sandwich to recover energy, and alfajor + cereal bar.

5.00It's the third year I've been on field trips with Taún. I choose them for the prompt response, the variety of excursions and the professionalism of the guides, even the most difficult trail make it possible. Highly recommended crossing the mountain range to start. I recommend these activities in winter.

5.00The landscapes are very beautiful, we took several photos with the view from the top of the mountain range. The service was great and very inquisitive always. The lunch was a great sandwich that was really very tasty. The equipment used by the guide and borrowed to us were new and of great quality, my companion rented a jacket with the guides and was a jacket from the north face in excellent condition.
