Lunch at Warkahye, hiking 3 hours to the first site that is Mekuat Maryam which is 2820 meters above sea level and set on a promontory of the plateau, jutting out to the southwest with spectacular views across the rural landscape. Breakfast at Mekuat community Guesthouse Hiking for three hours to Meskel. At Meskel you will see different types of birds and one of the Ethiopian endemic mammals called Gelada Baboon. Lunch at Meskel and trek 2:30 hours to Wajela. Dinner at wajela is noted for its beautiful wood of Acacia trees, and numerous stands of Eucalyptus in the surrounding village. Breakfast at Wajela community guest house Hike for three hours to Gala Dejen Lunch at Gala Dejen and hike three hours to Aterow. Dinner at Aterow is located on the edge of the escarpment near a dramatic gorge with a waterfall home to a large troop of Gelada monkeys (Baboon). Overnight at Aterow community guest house

Breakfast at Aterow community guest house and hike 4 hours to Yedekulay Picnic lunch Dinner at Yedukulay, links the east and west Meket treks and is set on a small twin peak below the escarpment, providing excellent views of the steep cliff face. Overnight at Yedukulay community guesthouse
