• A Fantastic Tour that brought us to all the top highlights in the Northern part of Trinidad

  We had a great time on this day tour with our guides Khaleel and Kenny! The tour started when we were picked up from our hotel at 9 a.m. and ended when they dropped us back off around 2 p.m. Khaleel and Kenny did a fantastic job driving us around to many of the monuments and attractions in Port of Spain, then to Fort George, and finally to Maracas Beach. We learned a lot about the history of Trinidad & Tobago and took plenty of great photos and videos. A big shoutout once again to our guides, Khaleel and Kenny, for the fantastic job they both did! If you’re staying in Port of Spain and looking for a guided day tour of the top attractions in northern Trinidad, definitely consider booking this one.   I was so impressed by the quality of this tour and our exceptional guide Junior. He was a real gentleman, very knowledgeable but with a sense of humour, and clearly is passionate about the history and culture of his wonderful country. We drove around downtown Port of Spain, then went to Queen’s Park Savannah with its unique Magnificent Seven Colonial mansions. Then a drive across the island through forest full of birdsong to be blown away by The North Coast and Maracas Beach. Bake and Shark was superb. Thank you, thank you junior for such a fabulous experience.

  A fantastic, interesting tour with a very knowledgeable and friendly guide (Khaleel). In particular, I enjoyed learning about the Trinidad carnival.

  We had an absolutely phenomenal experience on the Island Experiences Eco‑Cultural Tour: Highlights of Trinidad from Port of Spain. From start to finish, this tour exceeded every expectation — and a major part of that was thanks to our exceptional guide, Junior Francis. Junior was courteous, incredibly knowledgeable, and thoroughly professional throughout the entire day. His deep understanding of Trinidad’s history, culture, and natural beauty brought every stop to life. We’ve taken tours across several Caribbean islands, and this one truly stands out as one of the very best. The tour was well‑paced, thoughtfully planned, and extremely reasonably priced. We never felt rushed, and at every turn we felt immersed in the authentic spirit of Trinidad. We walked away with a genuine appreciation of the island’s rich heritage, warm hospitality, and vibrant traditions. A highlight was the chance to enjoy delicious local food — including doubles, shark and bake, kingfish and bake, and several sweet Trinidadian treats. These tasting moments added so much to the cultural experience and made the day feel even more special.   First of all we arrived at our meeting place and they didn't even had our reservation. Had to wait an extra hour until a taxi showed up and the tour guide apologized for being late. He wasn't even the tour guide we were supposed to get in the first place. He told us he usually gave art history and museum tours. You couldn't even see out of the windows when he pointed out things. We were just really disappointed in the tour for being the first time we used trip advisor to book this.

  Very glad we booked this because driving on Trinidad would have been difficult for us. The only snag we hit during the excursion was that we started 30 minutes late due to waiting for passengers to show up. Unfortunately this cut into our beach time at the end, which is what we most wanted to do. Besides that the tour was good. Knowledgeable host gave us the background on the sites and stops along the city tour part. Maracas Beach was gorgeous, locals friendly there, beach chairs cheap.

  We had a very tour with the excellent guide M. Kyle Muhammed. We were a small group and our very knowledgeable guide was vety interesting and a super pleasant person. He is definitely an asset to the ISLAND EXPERIENCES company and we strongly recommend him

  Had an amazing experience and learned so many things about Trinidad: it’s culture and its history. Guide was very knowledgable and enthusiastic and since there were only two of us on tourbhe basically tailored it to us. Highly recommend.
