Morning Pick-Up from SkyCity Hotel Auckland CBD: 5:45am onward, Sharp 6:00am we will start the tour. Kindly be on time on or before time to avoid disappointments. It will take approximately about 15 minutes to complete the pickups. Departure 6:00 am Travel: Auckland to Tirau Approximately (2hrs drive covering 175kms) via SH 1. From Tirau to Wai-O-Tapu 1 hour 30 Minutes drive.

The Mud Pool at Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Wonderland, near Rotorua, is one of New Zealand's most active geothermal features. It consists of bubbling, boiling mud created by underground geothermal activity. The thick, grey mud constantly bubbles due to the release of volcanic gases, offering a fascinating display of nature’s raw power. The Mud Pool sits in a crater formed by a volcanic eruption and is a popular attraction for visitors interested in geothermal phenomena.

Amazing trip, Binesh was a great guide and such brilliant locations - a must do when staying in Auckland. Even had time for an extra stop at lake rotorua!

A fantastic day trip from Auckland with so many elements at such a fair price. We enjoyed each part of the trip - and the driving was smooth with enough stops and time at each spot. It's definitely a great option if you don't have enough time to spend more than a day in Rotaroa. We even had an extra coffee stop on the way back - a must for Melburnians!

It was a lot of fun :) We saw some really cool things and the driver was a very nice man. We even went to an extra place that wasn't normally in the tour.

A really great tour. We got a bunch of information along the way from our courteous and gourmet guide. Be especially helpful and understanding. We were amazed everywhere we went. A very enjoyable tour. Highly recommend.

The geothermal park is a MUST SEE for anyone visiting New Zealand, I’m so glad we didn’t miss it. Waiotapu is truly amazing! The Redwood Forest in Rotorua is majestic and so beautiful and I’ve seen the redwoods in California. This is the tropical version with these redwoods in Rotorua growing among all the beautiful fern and NZ fauna. Ambrose was very knowledgeable on the history of the area and the rest of NZ and he was a great guy to talk with and learn from. He took such good care of my husband and I, a wonderful tour guide! I guess because of the rainy weather predicted earlier, it was just the two of us signed up for this specific tour but Ambrose gave us the best treatment, kept us on schedule and always drove safely. Thank you so much!

We had a great time exploring waitapu- rotorua, watched the Lady Knot show and doing the forest walk. Was great and even better, it felt like a private tour with such a small group. Was a great day and Dinesh was friendly and very nice. Stopped a couple of places for us to go for a Quick Look! And thank you for dropping us off at Ponsoby. Thank you.
