We are visiting the fantastic Trollfjord:

The Trollfjord is one of the most visited nature attractions in Lofoten. The fjord is a sidearm the Raftsund east in Lofoten. The fjord is 2 km long, and only 100 meters wide at the most narrow. The steep mountains surrounding the fjord are between 600 and 1100 metres high. The fjord has also played an important part in our fisheries. The battle of the Trollfjord in 1890 is immortalized through Johan Bojer`s novel, «The Last Viking», and one of painter Gunnar Berg`s (1863-1893) main works. The painting of The battle of the Trollfjord can be viewed in Svinøya Rorbuer`s Gunnar Berg Gallery.

We’re able to see everything we needed - got really close to the eagles, and boat ride was not as stressful as I anticipated. All the gears are included which was very helpful.

We booked an entire boat for our large family. The boat ride itself was beautiful. The guide made it fun and we learned a lot. We saw sea eagles and a pod of orcas.

It was a wonderful experience. You get an extra suit as well as glasses hats and gloves and then enjoy the exit. We drove to the eagles twice and were able to take great pictures. The Trollfjord is also magnificent. The tour is also possible in rainy weather.

Great experience. The guide knows very well the area and especially where are the eagles. He managed to be very close to the birds which seem to trust him. It gave us an exceptional opportunity to observe them from very near.

Magnus was very kind and knowledgeable, and navigated the boat well despite the storm in the area. He knows whwere to find the eagles and how to attract them.

A great experience, everything was super explained. We could observe the white-tailed eagles up close. Trollfjord very impressive and interesting facts about animals and fjord. Absolutely recommend!
Worth a visit. Check the weather!!

It was great. Breathtaking scenery, white-tailed eagles are fed fish and from there you can see and photograph them in good proximity. The boats are going very fast. The suits, hats and glasses provide the necessary protection. Put on as much underneath as you need for the temperatures outside. We were very lucky and saw orcas driving out. But our guide said that it was also the first time for him, who has been here for three months. All in all a worthwhile excursion. Also not too long in time, but just ideal. - we had calm seas without wind and with sun. Depending on the weather conditions, however, it can certainly be quite rugged and nasty.

Very nice experience. Very bad weather that did not portend anything good, which gives more credit to the success of the excursion. Spectacular interaction with eagles. Great pilot of the boat. With a lot of sea, I don't know dizziness. Wonderful and impressive the Trollfjord. It's definitely worth it. We didn't like that the departure was delayed by half an hour because a group of tourists were late. We had been told half an hour before departure that along with the delay became an unnecessary hour of waiting, without the slightest explanation and without the slightest apology. Details like this also mark the satisfaction of a very attractive activity.
A must do when in Svolvær!

An adventurous but not too challenging two hours. Very friendly, knowledgeable guide and boat captain. Enjoyed every minute!
A great experience of being close to eagles, a breath of history from Trollfjord and a taste of dolphin watching.

My friends and I took a trip on September 10th at 2 p.m. The weather was gorgeous, no waves, no rain. Just a nice sunny day. The captain was Ladislav, originally from the Czech Republic. The trip was very beautiful, the view of the fjords from the sea is simply different than from the hills on the coast. The eagles look majestic and calmly stand on the rocks protruding from the sea. Some are like models who enjoy taking pictures and filming. We learned interesting information about the life of the eagles during our captain's story. Trollfjord is interesting not only for its appearance, but also for the historical events that our captain told us during the tour of the fjord. In the end, we even saw dolphins. Just a great trip!
