We are visiting the fantastic Trollfjord:
The Trollfjord is one of the most visited nature attractions in Lofoten. The fjord is a sidearm the Raftsund east in Lofoten. The fjord is 2 km long, and only 100 meters wide at the most narrow. The steep mountains surrounding the fjord are between 600 and 1100 metres high. The fjord has also played an important part in our fisheries. The battle of the Trollfjord in 1890 is immortalized through Johan Bojer`s novel, «The Last Viking», and one of painter Gunnar Berg`s (1863-1893) main works. The painting of The battle of the Trollfjord can be viewed in Svinøya Rorbuer`s Gunnar Berg Gallery.

5.00Great fun 2-hour tour that leads to the discovery of the beautiful Trollfjord where you stop to take pictures and admire the beautiful sea eagles that live in this area. The captain of the dinghy throws pieces of fish into the sea so that the approaching eagles glide over the water to catch food and so are visible very closely. The captain with his big baritone voice and Viking appearance provided us in a sympathetic way a lot of information and historical anecdotes about the customs and customs of the fjords. To be recommended

5.00It is very cool to sail between the mighty fjords. The sea eagles really fly by during the stops. The skippers tell beautiful stories about nature, birds and the history with the trolls. Very nice with 1 guide as a real storyteller.

5.00We went on an eagle safari as a couple. Even though we were the only guests on the tour, it still went ahead, and we’re really glad it did. The guide was knowledgeable and made sure we didn’t miss anything, even with just the two of us. He also made sure we were ok during the whole experience. We had plenty of options to make pictures. Overall it was a fantastic and unforgettable experience. We would definitely recommend this eagle safari to anyone who enjoys nature and wildlife. It was totally worth it!

5.00Great trip with a wonderful captain explaining interesting things. We skipped Trollfjord due to bad weather but the other part was surely worth it!
