  There are trips that you prepare with your suitcase, and others that you cultivate for years in your heart. The safari in the Tsavo East National Park, Kenya, belongs to this second category: it is a dream born as a child, in front of a documentary, with wide eyes and the silent promise that one day you would be there, in the heart of the savannah. And when that day comes, it's not what you imagined. It's so much more. Seeing an elephant advance majestically in the red dust, watching the elegant race of giraffes or meeting the proud gaze of a lion in the silence of dawn... these are moments that have something sacred. In front of authentic nature, in its habitat, you feel small and immense at the same time. And you realize that something inside you is changing. Tsavo East is one of the largest and wildest parks in Africa, but above all it is one of the truest. No fence, no scenery: only endless expanses of red earth, sunburnt shrubs and a sky so vast it takes your breath away. The colors are intense, almost poignant: the ochre of the earth, the dusty green of the vegetation, the boundless blue above you and the dark silhouettes of the animals moving in the distance. Yes, there is dust everywhere. It rests on hair, clothes, skin. But it is a dust that does not dirty: it scores. It is the same land trampled by elephants, zebras and buffalo. And for a moment you too are part of that ancient, primordial, free world. A safari in Tsavo East is not just a tourist experience: it is a revelation. • A great lodge to kick off our safari week

  Our first lodge for the Safari Tour in Kenya. We were totally positively surprised how big and clean our room was. There was nothing to complain about. The beds were very pleasant, fan quiet, bathroom clean with hygiene items and great view from the balcony to the waterhole where some animals gathered. Breakfast and dinner was very varied, tasty and the staff friendly and prudent. We were traveling as a group, they were all very satisfied. Can we recommend without restriction.
