TSS Earnslaw, her Captain and staff made the journey to Walter Peak farm a comfortable and interesting one. Very good commentary from the Captain about the Ship’s history and the farm.

The steamer cruise was a lot of fun. The bbq lunch had a lot of options and was delicious. Joe did a great job of telling the story of Walter’s Peak farm, shearing a sheep and giving commands to Echo to pen the sheep. Very enjoyable afternoon.

We did the lunchtime trip and the whole experience was well organised and fun. There’s plenty of beautiful scenery to enjoy. Bring a jumper if you want to enjoy it on deck. The homestead is beautiful. There’s a lovely photo opportunity just before you dock. The staff are standing outside waving hello. It’s worthwhile taking a walk around the property before watching the sheep shearing demo. Lunch was plentiful and delicious - there was something for everyone. A great day out!
