Tulamben diving is a water activity that will make your holiday special. Tulamben is a small village in Bali, located in the northeast area. The area has black sand with smooth rocks. Because of the gentle current and waves, this located is ideal for diving. There are several diving spots there, but most tourists like visiting the Coral Garden and USAT Liberty Wreck. On each location, you have 30 minutes to 40 minutes to explore the areas. Depending on the diving operators, you can generally enjoy two times diving time. The package includes a professional guide as well as safety equipment. It even includes a pickup service from the hotel at 8 AM.
Diving here can be done by beginners accompanied by professional instructors

If you consult this diving operator, you can enjoy the most popular spots of Coral Garden and USAT Ship Wreck. Each spot has its own unique features and characteristics. The ship wreck, for instance, is fully covered with different kinds of corals. Around 400 fish species live in the corals, creating an impressive natural habitat. If you come to the Coral Garden, you will find different kinds of corals and also fish, including snappers, Frogfish, Ribbon Eels, Scorpionfish, and much more. You are given 30 minutes to 40 minutes exploration for each spot – which should be enough for your Tulamben diving.

5.00I wish I had remembered our diving instructor's name so I could recommend him but my husband and I did this dive on 05/03/26. The diver was so knowledgeable and made is feel welcome and safe at all times. We couldn't believe how he held onto us the entire time that we dove (first session was 25 minutes, the second session was 45 minutes). He was the best diver I have ever met, having an experience of 35 years. He also took incredible photos and videos. I would recommend him to anybody who wants to dive but are scared. Our driver Yudi also was amazing. He drove us for about 8 hours the entire day and was still energetic! We made sure to get his phone number so we can recommend him to any friends we have who want to go to Bali. I sincerely hope this establishment keeps Yudi the driver and the diver with the 35 years of experience who speaks English and Chinese. They were the perfect team and was the best part of our trip to Bali!

5.00⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had an excellent experience with our driver Wira Bigus during our trip to the USS Liberty dive site in Tulamben. He was very funny, kind, and extremely talkative in the best way — he spent the drive explaining Balinese culture and sharing interesting stories that made the journey really enjoyable. He went above and beyond to make the trip great for us. At our request he even stopped the car and took us to a great local place to try durian, which was a fun and memorable experience. Overall he was friendly, professional, and made the whole day much more entertaining. We highly recommend Wira to anyone visiting Bali who wants a driver who is knowledgeable, welcoming, and genuinely fun to travel with.

5.00We were collected promptly at 8am by our driver Nang Udia who was flexible with the pick up point. He drove us for 2,5hrs to Tulamben in a comfortable clean vehicle. Our dive guide Ketut totally put whatever angst I’d had to rest in my mind as he was so easy going and enthusiastic. He has a lot of dive experience and I trusted him 100%. They got us kitted out with everything we needed and provided ample bottled water. The dives were great. Lunch after was basic but really tasty and we fell on it and demolished it all. Then Nang drove us back to Ubud while we snoozed and relaxed in the car! A really excellent good value day!!

Unforgettable Scuba Experience in Tulamben + The Best Driver Ever

5.00We had an amazing scuba diving experience in Tulamben that we’ll remember for a long time. The dive itself was very well organized, calm, and perfect even for people who are not strong swimmers. The underwater visibility was good, the marine life was beautiful, and the instructors made us feel safe and comfortable throughout the experience. What truly made this day extra special was our driver and host Kojek. He is hands down the best driver you could ask for in Bali — polite, patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. On the way, he thoughtfully stopped at a local coffee plantation, where we got to try different coffee and tea testers and learn about the process. It was such a lovely and unexpected experience. And the highlight? Since it was Teddy Day, Kojek went out of his way to stop midway and buy a teddy bear for my wife 🧸❤️ — a gesture that completely melted our hearts. This is the kind of personal touch that you don’t forget. From safe driving to great conversations and thoughtful surprises, Kojek made our trip incredibly special. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Tulamben or Bali — both the scuba experience and especially Kojek as your driver. You’ll be in the best hands.

5.00It was a great trip! Our driver bawa was really friendly and great, would recommend him, he drove us from ubud to tulamben (3hrs drive) The dive was great, the dive guide (katut) was really helpful and we loved the experience fully!

5.00Driver Wira(hope I remember correctly) was absolutely amazing. He drives like a beast haha. The drive was bit long ( 3 hours) but absolutely worth it! Love the shipwreck and the amazing coral/ sea life. Very beautiful moments ! Absolutely recommend. They include transfer from our hotels very convenient
