Tulamben diving is a water activity that will make your holiday special. Tulamben is a small village in Bali, located in the northeast area. The area has black sand with smooth rocks. Because of the gentle current and waves, this located is ideal for diving. There are several diving spots there, but most tourists like visiting the Coral Garden and USAT Liberty Wreck. On each location, you have 30 minutes to 40 minutes to explore the areas. Depending on the diving operators, you can generally enjoy two times diving time. The package includes a professional guide as well as safety equipment. It even includes a pickup service from the hotel at 8 AM.
Diving here can be done by beginners accompanied by professional instructors

If you consult this diving operator, you can enjoy the most popular spots of Coral Garden and USAT Ship Wreck. Each spot has its own unique features and characteristics. The ship wreck, for instance, is fully covered with different kinds of corals. Around 400 fish species live in the corals, creating an impressive natural habitat. If you come to the Coral Garden, you will find different kinds of corals and also fish, including snappers, Frogfish, Ribbon Eels, Scorpionfish, and much more. You are given 30 minutes to 40 minutes exploration for each spot – which should be enough for your Tulamben diving.

5.00It was a great trip! Our driver bawa was really friendly and great, would recommend him, he drove us from ubud to tulamben (3hrs drive) The dive was great, the dive guide (katut) was really helpful and we loved the experience fully!

5.00Driver Wira(hope I remember correctly) was absolutely amazing. He drives like a beast haha. The drive was bit long ( 3 hours) but absolutely worth it! Love the shipwreck and the amazing coral/ sea life. Very beautiful moments ! Absolutely recommend. They include transfer from our hotels very convenient

5.00What a breath taking experience!! Worth the long drive to this!! The dive team were great. We pay for a dive instructor as we were beginners and it was worth the extra. My dive instructor was very helpful and patient with me and made sure I was comfortable and ready to go further down. He showed me everything there was to see and stayed with me the whole time as he knew I was nervous. But was amazing and would book this again!
The BEST wreck dive. If you’re on the fence about this: DO IT!!!

5.00I am so thankful I took the plunge and did this 10-hour round-trip from Sanur to do the USAT Liberty wreck dive. Trust me; it is WELL worth the long drive. It all started with my fantastic driver Tole - who was a delight and handled the traffic and road conditions efficiently. I did 2 dives with Wayan Dive Tulamben and I couldn’t be happier with them. It ended up being 1-on-1 dives with the dive master/owner Wayan who was so chilled and attentive. We say turtles, octopi, barracuda, HUGE puffers and groupers. The wreck is off the shore, so no boats required. Such a bonus! It is a dynamic wreck with lots of caves and holes to swim through. And the home-cooked mie goreng for for lunch was so tasty. Would go again in a heartbeat!

3.00Overall, it was quite fun, the diving was cool and we got to see the shipwreck. The equipment was good and the lunch was actually really good, I liked the mie goreng a lot. Now onto the negatives, the facilities are quite old, and the people there are some crazy smokers, I’m talking multiple in a short time frame...We paid for the underwater camera as well but it was pretty disappointing as there is a white spot in the centre of all the photos…we also paid 500k for it despite them telling us it was 250k originally…(unfair as one out of 3 of us didn’t even take any photos and there w the only photos for 1 of the 2 dives as they LOST the original camera) the coral area is quite murky and the corals are pretty damaged, but the shipwreck is very cool. Our guide/instructor is was very helpful although he didn’t speak English that well, making communication a bit confusing.
To do and do again, and why not do again!

5.00Incredible experience, supported by Bawa at airbnb, excellent driving with possibility to put his own music. Always back in his company. Arrived on the scene Ketuth the dive guide knew how to put confidence, by his experience and by the different points to learn before diving. I knew I was in good hands. The place is amazing I come out blown away for me who lived this for the first time. Thanks to them.
