Embark on a fascinating underground adventure with departures from Cluj at 8:30 AM and 1:30 PM. Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately (from May to September, please take a sweater or a jacket with you as temperature inside is only 10-12° C (50-53° F) all year long)

Salina Turda
You will descend into the underground where you'll completely be surrounded by salt. Walk on a man-made gallery, visit three mining chambers, learn about mining techniques and local urban legends and, nevertheless, take a boat or a Ferris-wheel ride. The visit of the mine involves climbing and descending some stairs. Most of the stairs can be avoided by taking two different elevators.

3.00If you have been to Wieliczka you will be disappointed. This is simply a very long walk to go down a huge hole. There is a choice between stairs or lift. The lift carries 7 people only.

The Salt Mines are such an awe inspiring place to visit. As tourists through this area she went out of her way to assist with other problems we were having with our trip. 5.00Total and impressive experience in a deep mine. You have to walk and go down stairs, although there is elevator. I understand that people with reduced mobility should abstain. Highly recommended.

5.00We had a great time at the Turda salt mines! My 7yo absolutely loved it and our guide explained everything so knowledgeably and patiently. We didn't have any Romanian Lei on us so she helped us with cash for the attractions at the mines. Highly recommend!

3.00Salt mine as a great place to visit hmmm.. Ok. Deep hole with thousands of people. I really saw better places to go and spend 50lei per person.
