This tour was such a fun experience! Our guide was informative and entertaining. The lunch in San Gimigiano was very tasty! Our vegetarian meal included bread, pasta, grilled veggies, omelettes and dessert along with 3 types of wine. The tour is such good value and is a no brainer if you want to cover Siena, San Gimigiano and Pisa in a day. If you are with senior citizens, be aware that there will be a fair of walking involved. Even though the meeting point is at Florence train station, we had to walk ~ half a mile to get to the bus station. In Siena and San Gimigiano, the walk tour includes uphills and steps. In Pisa, it is a long flat walk from the bus stop to the tower. When you return to Florence, you will have to walk back from the bus station back to the train station (or call a taxi). Overall we enjoyed this tour and highly recommend it.

This is a wonderful excursion if you are short on time and want to get a quick look at some of Italy’s finest Tuscan heritage. The guides were excellent, and the tour was well organized.

We’re from Australia and booked this Tuscan Wine tour to see some of the Italian towns and countryside. We were not disappointed. This was the last day in Florence before moving on to Milan, so a lovely way to end this trip to Florence. Our guide Manolo (Walk About Tours) was a cheerful and experienced English guide. The winery for lunch and wine tasting was fabulous and served lunch promptly. As this was a winter tour, a hot pasta lunch with a variety of wines was ideal. We purchased wines, olive oil etc to take home as well. We had an experienced guide whilst in Siena as well and enjoyed the education and history provided. It’s a long day out and includes some walking however we found it absolute value for money. If you prefer a variety of wineries, I would advise that if doing this tour, consider adding another wine tour to your list to ensure you experience multiple wineries as this only had one winery stop. We met new people from across the globe and had a relaxing and enjoyable day out. Thank you Mano snd Guiseppe.

We just finished our fabulous day with our tour guide Davida! He was the best tour guide we’ve had! He accommodated all of us and made it the best day we’ve had in Italy so far! I highly highly recommend! Definitely worth the experience! We toured Siena, san Gimignano, has lunch in a charming little winery and finished the day seeing the historic leaning Tower of Pisa! Be mindful, there is a quite a bit of walking, up and down hills!

Our Tuscany tour with Manolo (guide) and Giuseppe (driver) was truly outstanding—one of the most memorable experiences of our entire trip. From the very first pickup, the day felt perfectly organized yet wonderfully relaxed. Giuseppe’s smooth, confident driving made traveling through Tuscany’s winding roads effortless, allowing us to fully enjoy the breathtaking countryside of rolling hills, vineyards and cypress-lined roads. We began with a visit to Siena, where Manolo’s passion, knowledge and storytelling brought the city vividly to life. Walking through the historic streets and the iconic Piazza del Campo felt meaningful and engaging rather than rushed. Manolo explained Siena’s history, traditions and culture in a way that was easy to follow and genuinely fascinating, while still giving us plenty of time to explore on our own. Next, we headed to a local winery for wine tasting and lunch, which was an absolute highlight of the day. Set in a beautiful vineyard, the experience was relaxed, welcoming, and authentically Tuscan. The wines were excellent, thoughtfully explained and perfectly paired with a delicious lunch made from fresh, local ingredients. Sitting there, enjoying great food, wine and stunning views, felt like the true essence of Tuscany. If you want to send some of this delicious wine back to the USA plan on paying significantly more per bottle to pay for mailing it back home. After lunch, we visited San Gimignano, the perfect next stop. Wandering through the medieval town with its famous towers was magical, and Manolo’s insights added so much depth to the experience. He pointed out great places to walk, shop, take photos and enjoy the atmosphere, while also sharing the fascinating history behind this unique town. We ended the day in Pisa, where seeing and climbing to the top of the Leaning Tower in person was the perfect finale. Manolo made the visit both informative and enjoyable, helping us appreciate not just the tower but the entire Piazza dei Miracoli. It was a wonderful way to wrap up such a full and thoughtfully planned day. Throughout the entire tour, Manolo and Giuseppe worked seamlessly together—professional, kind, attentive and clearly passionate about what they do. They anticipated our needs, shared local insights and made us feel more like guests than tourists. If you’re looking for a Tuscany tour that is beautifully paced, rich in history and culture, filled with unforgettable scenery, and led by people who truly love their region, we cannot recommend Manolo and Giuseppe highly enough. A genuine five-star experience from start to finish. ✨

This is a fantastic way to see the Tuscan region if you are staying primarily in Florence and have limited time for the whole Tuscany experience. We arrived for our 8 am departure and were met by a tour agency rep and our guide for the day, Victoria. Because of local ordinances restricting traffic there was about a 15 minute walk to our bus, which was a double decker, comfortable, climate controlled vehicle with a stellar driver. Along the way Victoria spoke about Siena, the first city on our trip, and provided headsets for the tour. Once we arrived at Siena we were introduced to Cathleen, a local guide/expert, who took us through the town and cathedral, and described the Palio horse race. She was an excellent guide. Prior to our next stop, San Gimignano, those who did not opt for lunch and wine tasting were dropped off at the town and the rest of us had a fantastic lunch with heavy pours of wine at a nearby winery/farm. Great marketing strategy as we had a few bottles shipped home, as did many others in the group! After that we had an hour to wander around San Gimignano on our own before heading to Pisa. We added the tower climb ticket and went up the steps to the highest point to watch a beautiful sunset. It was then a 90 minute ride back to Florence. Victoria was absolutely wonderful! We were a little nervous about the size of the group, but she kept everyone on pace and organized. It's a long day, about 12 hours, and there is a decent amount of walking, so make sure everyone in your group is up to the task. We also appreciated that the lunch considered food allergies, as we have two family members with peanut/tree nut allergies.
