Sometimes the weather conditions (cloud, wind or rain) in Glacier Country don't allow us to get higher into the mountains to the snow landing sites, but we can still safely fly over the Franz Josef & Fox Glaciers.
On these days, we often have less sun glare so get the beautiful blue colour in the glacial ice and some awesome photos!
Flight times can vary depending on wind speed & direction on the day. Please note there is not a snow landing on this flight.

5.00Unfortunately the weather was not good, so we could only fly to 1 glacier and not do a snow landing, but that was still very worthwhile. Impressive to be able to see the glacier up close and the flight was very comfortable and safe. Very nice and nice pilot and also the support staff was very pleasant and service oriented. Everything went very smoothly and they anticipate the rapidly changing conditions of the weather that you simply cannot control. In any case, everything is done to make you have a top experience. We also had an immediate refund because we could not do our booked experience and the communication was proactive and top notch. We recommend it to everyone.
