  We booked a 10-hour car and driver for a day trip to Ubud. From start to finish, this was a fabulous experience. We were asked in advance what we would like to see and told our driver could offer suggestions. Our driver, Al (Ali Susila), it turns out, was the person efficiently and promptly responding to our every email during the booking process. We opted for a larger, more comfortable car (a Toyota Alphard which is more like a Luxury SUV) which was the right decision. We enjoyed a comfortable ride for what turned out to be an 11-hour day. Al picked us up at our hotel in Nusa Dua. He was more like a full-on guide, vs. just "a driver." Al was knowledgeable about the area as well as the history of the sites, suggested non-touristic sites (which we really appreciated) and walked us into many locations to save time, enabling us to see much more than anticipated. Al is an amazing driver - safe and efficient, as well as a warm and friendly soul. One stop he suggested was visiting a traditional Butuan Village family home. The family greeted us and Al explained all the details while showing us the family courtyard, kitchen, their animals and original grass roofs. There are very few of these homes left and it was wonderful to meet the family and see this first-hand. We also stopped at a coffee plantation to get an education on the delicious Luwak Coffee (look up how this is made) and tasted incredible coffees and teas (Mangosteen, Lemon Grass) - a memorable experience. We saw so many spectacular sites, including Talalog Rice Terraces, Goa Gaja Elephant Cave & Hindu Temple, Tegenungan Waterfall and the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary with its own temple complex. We had a perfect, fun filled day. Al made it especially meaningful and unforgettable for which we will be forever grateful. We would highly recommend Al and Bali Private Driver Club.

  Our driver Made picked me up at my hotel, where he was already waiting. He told us a lot about the Balinese culture and the Hinduism religion.We visited some very beautiful places. Made was very helpful and could answer all our questions. Overall the trip was excellent, it included many interesting sites and well organized. We are happy with him Thank you we highly recommend!
